New Legacy poster looks great! I don't think there is anyone I don't want to get from that set. It's kind of annoying having the map on the back though. I mean, it's great to have the map, but I need to take down my poster every time I want to use the map! It's hard for me to get a second poster.

I have not played the Thrawn squad recently, but I looked at the squads you guys posted and I'm getting some ideas. I will let you know how the next battle goes.

Anybody have any good beastie squads? Next time I meet up with my buddy I'm hoping to throw him for a curve-ball by having all animals on the board (not counting maybe the Nightsister). Assume points are not an issue.

I don't think there is such a thing as a good beast squad. Some beasties teamed up with Exar Kun can be brutal, but it's not all beasts at that point. Savage just makes them too hard to control to be a quality team. You could toss some Varactyl Wranglers in there to take care of that...

The Felucian Rancor is good too.

Sorry, don't have a team for ya, just a handful of vague thoughts.

Yeah, if you can maybe put mostly non-savage beasts out there like mynocks, vornskyrs (sp?), and other stuff I can't think of right now, and then some Witches to take care of the others with Savage, that might work. I've never tried it...

Yeah the nightsister witches are a given. I don't know of anyone else who has that ability though. Maybe a half-and-half squad? I just wanna come up with a different squad to throw at him.

Varactyl Wrangler is a 6 point fringe figure that removes Savage as well. So you can either use those figures to remove savage or use Exar Kun to make for an excellent Force-user destroyer squad.

My suggestion would be to use Kun. He's fun with beasties grin

He's in the Champions of the Force set. Miniatures Market usually has fair prices.

I've ordered from Minis Market several times since Dajuan mentioned it and I have been VERY happy. They may not have the very BEST pricing, but it is fair and you know you're going to get your stuff (unlike several other places I've dealt with).

Kun is fun with the beasties, so I'd recommend that too (as I did above). But he's also "good"ish with other armies, so he's worth a buy.

Here is a good traders site. It's run by Squid89, and includes most of the really good online people.

http://www.smithohio.com/swminis/

I'm Hothie on there as well. You'll need to enter an email address to sign up (don't worry, no spam from them.) Some people haven't updated in a while, but it's a good site to use for trading.

The site looks broken on my computer. Is it just my computer, is the site down, or is that an incorrect link?

Try this link instead. Apparently hothie's link went to some other part of the site. I'll edit hothie's post with that.
