Lord Kaan, I might be thinking of Kadann, but wasn't Kaan a Sith Lord of old?

Ars Dangor is basically the proto-type Sate Pestage (i.e. the Emperor's Dick Cheney) from WEG. He basically runs the Empire in the Mid-Rim and Outer Rim territories in our game from Naboo. It's not quite canon since he should be on Coruscant but I like the idea he's made the Emperor's Summer Palace into this ridiculously opulent and useless court. The player characters go there as opposed to Coruscant for orders because it cuts down on travel time.
I portray him as an utter and complete fool whom nevertheless is a good speech writer. He uses holograms to impersonate the Emperor for his weekly addresses and meetings, so the Emperor can go around doing his Dark Side business. He's also not the only one.
Pooja Naberrie is indeed Padme's kid sister. She's grown up in the Star Wars galaxies game. Basically, she's Naboo's Sector Command for the Rebel Alliance and the Senator for Chommel Sector after Jar Jar Binks came down with food poisoning and never left his isolated home again.
She's unaware her lover is an Inquisitor, thinking him just an Imperial fop. He's unaware she's nothing more than a pleasant but failed political idealist. It's a fun little run around we do with them.
Lord Kaan is indeed the Dark Lord of the Sith before Darth Bane. The player characters found the Valley of the Jedi on Ruusan well before Jerec did and accidentally aided in him pulling a Palpatine. He moved his soul into an Imperial officer also searching for the Valley and tried to use the spirits of all of his slain Sith Lord comrades to empower himself to Godhood. Then he'd resurrect them one by one and take over the galaxy.
Inquisitor Naylist Cato recieved a commendation by Palpatine for eliminating a threat to his rule.
The wackiest encounter just happened this weekend where they fought Necrosis. In this case, he's a General Grevious body unit using battle droid with the brain patterns of Darth Maul (his body was recovered by Palpatine and while they couldn't resuscitate him, they were able to make a pattern of information from his dissected brain)

So tonight's session is a continuation of the party's exploration of Ossus. Last session, shortly after their arrival at Exis Station, a New Republic task force arrived, commanded by Admiral Drayson. Ostensibly, they're acting on intelligence indicating Imperial activity in the area, but it's actually part of an ongoing effort on the part of the Alliance to cozy up to the Jedi Order.
Upon arrival on Ossus, the party has split up into 3 groups: Luke Skywalker & his apprentice Kyp Durron (Kiiro has graduated to Jedi Knight), Kam Solusar & Tionne, and the PCs. Tonight, the party will face
Durrei, while Luke has a showdown with
Jeng Droga. The backstory is that Droga wants to get his hands on the Kashi Mer talisman in order to attempt to resurrect the Emperor. Durrei has the talisman itself, while Droga has a portion of the directions on how to actually use it. Together, they've gone to Ossus (along with some "hired muscle") to see if there's any lore that could help them fully unlock the secrets of the talisman.
Further complicating matters is that Ventress has sent a complement of Nagai and a minor Dark Jedi, along with some of Grand Admiral Il-Raz's stormtroopers, in order to pillage any remaining Sith lore. So the PC's are in a 3-way grinder with Droga's mercenaries and Ventress' forces.

Awesome, my party has faced Durrei as well. High Inquisitor Tremayne had the player character Jedi kill Durrei in anger in order to prove she was worthy of corruption to the Dark Side.
The showdown was on Mustafar, I'd love to hear how your confrontation ends up.

I have to cackle with self-congratulation after last night's session. I pulled a gigantic mind-job on my two Jedi PCs. Some time back, their Master, Teris Kel, had been captured by Grand Inquisitor Tremayne. They've spent considerable time & effort trying to learn the whereabouts of the Interrogator,Tremayne's personal Star Destroyer.
They were able to learn the whereabouts of his favored servant Ahnjai Rahmma on Nar Shaddaa. In the course of the battle, they fought on some unstable footing and saved him, putting him in the PCs' debt. He led them to the Interrogator, where he distracted Tremayne long enough for the party to find and free Master Kel, but at the cost of his own life.
So the party gets back to the Praxeum at Yavin IV, where Kel is examined by Master Skywalker and Master Cilghal. Here's where the fun begins. The two Masters tell the Jedi PCs that they're unsure of the extent of the psychological damage he's suffered at Tremayne's hands (in actuality, he's fine) and recommend that he take a "forced sabbatical" from the Council and not be allowed to train any students while he's in recovery. Moreover, they ordered that he be kept under constant surveillance.
I advanced the game clock for a chunk of time (including time for the PCs to make their lightsabers, since they'd hit 7th level recently) and made a few comments here & there about what was going on. I noted to the PCs that Master Kel had been spending an inordinate amount of time on lightsaber practice. His rationale was that he was "going back the the basics." (This was completely true. I'd done him up as more of deceptive scoundrel, rather than straight-up fighter. He'd "levelled," so I had him take a level of Jedi to get Block in preparation for another level of Jedi Knight to get Shii-Cho mastery; a "deceptively simple" form is perfectly in tune with his modus operandi) At one point, while they're talking, I fumble and say "Master Tremayne," but I decide to keep it in character and say "...I meant, Inquisitor Tremayne..."
So while the other party members (2 scoundrels and a scout) are on another mission running escort duty in their "new" ship ( an archaic Dynamic class freighter they'd boosted off the Interrogator), the Jedi spot Kel leaving the Praxeum on a speeder. They follow him into the deep jungles, to another Sith temple. There, they find him perusing some Sith scrolls, which was legit; the Jedi have yet to fully clear the planet of dark side sites & artifacts. So Master Kel puts on an act that he's been honing his 'saber skills and seeking out dark side knowledge to give him the power to take down Tremayne. When they say "but Tremayne's a monster!" his response is "sometimes, to kill a monster, you must become a monster," and so on. He also feigned anger and bitterness at having lost his priveleges as a Jedi Master. Comments back and forth like this went on for a long while.
Kel has a pretty high Deception mod (plus a circumstance bonus for him telling plausible lies) and I rolled their opposed Perception checks behind the GM screen, plus I'd said that the place they were in was strong with the dark side, so the players really thought that their Master had turned. It got to the point that weapons were drawn and ignited on all sides.
Just when it was about to come to blows, Master Skywalker and their curent Master show up, and Master Kel shuts down his weapon. They congratulate the PCs and elevate them to Jedi Knight.
Mind. Job.

So having rescued their Master from Grand Inquisitor Tremayne, the PCs are currently on a new mission: They've learned the name of a particular planet, and gotten the coordinates from Kam Solusar (who you'll remember is a former Jedi-hunter himself) While interrogating Master Kel, Tremayne hinted that the planet contained what he called his "monument of failure." Encased in carbonite (the planet doubles as a carbonite mining facility as well as an Inquistor training ground) is the only Jedi that Tremayne has neither been able to break nor bring himself to kill:

Although not a guest star, I did include an HK assassin droid designated HK-421.
Who wasn't at his post.
Which the players wanted to know why.
Thus the utterance:
"HK-421, why aren't you at your post? HK-421, do you copy?"

So this week's session was the big rescue. My wife (who plays a Togruta Jedi) LHAO when she found out that it was K'Krukh that they were rescuing. I even made a point of him donning "the Hat," Indiana Jones-style.
Oh, I forgot that they'd recruited Kyle Katarn as a "nuclear option" in case either Master Kel really was up to no good, or if they got in over their heads with the Inquisitors.

New "guest stars" of a sort, this time in the time-honored tradition in SW of using word-plays.
I've come up with a way to plausibly split the party up like we see in the movies, while giving "absent" players something to do. In this particular session, the party led a two-pronged attack against a pirate that has been harassing a world they have ties to. One prong was against the pirates fleet, which consisted of a couple of squadrons of Headhunters & Y-Wings led by a Corellian Corvette. The second prong was against the pirates' planetside base. The "non-present" players were given generic snubfighters to run for the space mission, and I made up some Alliance special forces characters for them to play for the ground mission.
For the SpecForce characters, I took some inspiration from Aliens and various Ah-nuhld action movies. The SpecForce leader was Mac Matrix, whom one of the players correctly identified as being based on John Matrix from Commando. Other characters were Hix Hudson, and Vaash Drake. My personal favorite was heavy weapons specialist Bodhi Vin-Trah, and his heavy repeating blaster he calls "Ol' Tenloss"

So this past session finally saw the end of Asajj Ventress. I'd set it up in my campaign that when she said "buggrit all" at the end of Obsession, she ended up in Nagai space (which I said is in the Unknown Regions, rather than the dwarf galaxy), and took over. She came back to known space calling herself Darth Malys, and connected with Grand Admiral Ishin-Il-Raz, stopping that nutter from offing himself.
Sensing the dark side surrounding Mustafar, and remembering it as a Separatist "bunker planet," she set up shop there. For the confrontation, I made Luke Skywalker a playable character; my group thought that was pretty cool.
By the end of it, Ventress ending up taking a dive into the lava.
