So, the JC has two roleplaying forums for their posts and the whatnot. There are no dice and mechanics involved.
I'm trying to start up an actual full gameplay mechanic Warhammer Fantasy rpg on a friend's site, using various secure websites for dicerolling and the whatnot.
Anyone had positive experiences with this, or have some suggestions?

I've been running a star wars d20 game for more than three years now... I guess the most important thing is to keep the game moving. Don't take too long to wait on people (I would suggest a day at most) because every scenario or adventure you have planned is likely one nights worth of sessions in a live game, but that can take place over months or more (lots more) so to keep the game moving and keep people interested, then sometimes you need to push them from one scene to the next. Leave room for roleplay, of course, but you also need to keep your consistent posters interested as they're the backbone of any online gaming group (and of course make some allowances for real life, by not penalizing players for not posting enough).
You'll also find people will drop out. It comes naturally with the game and it can and will happen at the most inconvenient time. Talk to the person, find out why they left (it helps to know as constructive criticism of your style can help) and if it's not your fault, or they can't be talked into coming back, then just assume their character until such a time that you can extract the PC from the game.
Most importantly: hang in there. So long as you have a core group that's interested then keep plugging away, and promote your game so others will join in place of those that drop out, and you can have a strong gaming group again.

Wow... I didn't know that... that woulda been helpful in the early days. All my players are on the honour system now, anyway.
