There's a harsh, jarring crunch as Yuul drives over an unseen ledge. Tilly "eeps!" but your attention is more focused on other matters. The report of a slugthrower is followed by a burst of steam from the front of your vehicle. The boxey vehicle stops, and the occupants open fire on the bike trying to drag it's fish away. Two blaster bolts hit the bike, which explodes. The third seems to be trying to break off, but does so by driving over the being on the ground.
Everyone is still in range of everyone.

Yuul stops the vehicle(unless it is so already), and hops out firing a shot at the nearest or other bike thug. He also motions for Tilly to stay in cover.

Tilly bobs her head while hiding behind a storage box. The last of the Brutes is riding all out away from Yuul, but not fast enough to outrun blaster bolts.
Yuul's shot and one from the box-vehicle slam into the Brute. The Brute's bike turns toward an outcropping and crashes. The vehicle must be a highly defective design to explode so readily...

A helmeted head pokes up over the lip of the back cargo area where the other person was dragged out. "You're not a local, are you?" It seems to be more of a statement than a question. Sunlight glints from the goggles, and the riffle barrels seem to be not quite pointed in your direction anymore.

The men in the back of the vehicle stand up. You can clearly see modern battle armor. It looks well used, with plenty of scratching, scorce marks from near hits, and oil stains.
"You were on the Cetacean Princess? We're tracking three transponder blips. The local wildlife has been less than hospitable. Tell you what: Help us get the survivors out, and we'll give you a lift. What do you say?"

Yuul nods, "Yes I was aboard the Cetacean Princess, when I came aboard the captain asked me to be the medic as I was the only one with any real training. Were you on the ship too? As to a lift... I don't know much about the local tech, is this one beyond fixing?" Yuul asked, pointing to his own damaged vehicle.

Tilly's head pops up from behind a crate, giving the odd impression that it's just floating there. "I'm not a machine fixer upper. Looks like you broke it. Good thing you don't gotta buy it."
"There's room in the back for any supplies you want." pipes in one of the people from the boxey contraption. "By the way, I'm Arkarian, and this is Grantois. I'd introduce Dentroz, but it looks like there isn't much point." A half-door opens in the middle of the back wall of the back box of the vehicle. Arkarian and Grantois climb out. Their motions are fluid and practiced. In addition to their riffles, each has a heavy blaster, a large combat knife, and Grantois appears to be wearing a stormtrooper belt painted or grease-stained to a dark brown.
