Suncaller's blue eyes regard the Feeorin Master for a moment, at once comparing his seeming lack of calm to the serene strength of his own teacher. "My apologies Master, it was not my intent to make assumption. I believed that the dispatch of this many Jedi, troops, and diplomats would have only been done if the possibility of Seperatist contact was either overwhelming or the Order had prescience of such an event."
He turns to regard his fellow Padawans. The dark haired human who had started the conversation stood opposite Horus on the other side of the transport. He seemed a bit nervous, one didn't need the Force to see it, but not fearful. Horus thinks he remembered seeing him a few times in the Temple, Belwynn or something like it. There was a striking silver-haired female who was gripping her lightsaber as she stood a bit back from Belwynn. Her thoughts and posture gave the impression of being somewhere far away and yet centered here somehow, Horus' skills were far too limited to derive more and it would be impolite regardless. The last Padawan appeared relaxed as the transport continued to bounce through the turbulent air. He could recognize the Jedi breathing techniques she was using to do so.
"My name is Horus Suncaller, Padawan to Master Joff. I think I recognize some of you from the Temple and the ship, but in all the rush we were never introduced." He gives a practiced bow and waits to see how each will respond, opening himself more fully to the Force as he does so.

In response to all the masters said, Belywnn makes a slight bow. He glances out, interested in seeing the city.
Corporate_Jedi posted: "My name is Horus Suncaller, Padawan to Master Joff. I think I recognize some of you from the Temple and the ship, but in all the rush we were never introduced."
Kerran turns back to Horus and the other Padawans, and bows as well (again). "I am Kerran Belwynn, Master Thom's Padawan. I sure would like to know each of you much better..."- he takes a look at each of the Padawans- "...but I'm afraid we'll able to do it once we hit the ground - not literally, I hope."
Seeing that they haven't arrived at the target area yet, he quickly adds: "I just hope this war ends swiftly, so that we can go back to being guardians of the galaxy."

"Thank you, Threetwo." Kel says, grabbing one of the restraint bars and double checking his bag to ensure all was secure. Best to leave things be for now. These guys did have a job to do, and Kel didn't really want to interfere with that.

Luke: Wow...he must have been consumed by the evil over a long period of time then... Obi-Wan: Well no, not really. Seriously, one minute he was all like "Oh Hello Obi-Wan old chum! What new adventures shall we have today?" Next he was killing babies...

Mizuki Shayal
She continued to look out at Druckenwell’s surface from the safety of the transport. Well, not exactly safety. Transports like this were often shot down in the middle of combat, but Mizuki had a feeling that the Force was with them. One’s connection to the Force did not matter if they were a Padawan or a Master. A Padawan could have a greater connection than one of the greatest Jedi Masters. A rare case, of course, in these times.
One of the Jedi, the one with the platinum-blonde hair, approached her and the other Padawans. "My name is Horus Suncaller, Padawan to Master Joff. I think I recognize some of you from the Temple and the ship, but in all the rush we were never introduced." Horus gave the group a small, practiced bow and returned to a normal stance, obviously awaiting to see what they would say.
"I am Kerran Belwynn, Master Thom's Padawan. I sure would like to know each of you much better…but I'm afraid we'll able to do it once we hit the ground - not literally, I hope." The Padawan with the jet-black braid said. He seemed a little nervous but Mizuki knew he had the Force around him. "I just hope this war ends swiftly, so that we can go back to being guardians of the galaxy." He added swiftly after introducing himself.
Believing that it was her time to introduce herself, she approached the Padawans and bowed swiftly, the lightsaber in her hand spinning through the air once as she flicked it up and back into her hand. “I’m Mizuki Shayal, Master Ro’Khan’s Padawan.” She said, motioning at the Feeorin behind her with her thumb.

The chain of islands that supported the gleaming white city of Il Avali sprang quickly into view, polished transparisteel windows sparkling with ocean reflected sunlight. Off in the distance a faint haze was quickly dissipated by the ocean winds, the only indication of the planet's reliance on manufacturing and mining and the growing environmental toll such industries were having on Druckenwell. Here on islands that formed Il Avali government offices, company headquarters, and extravagant homes of the Druckenwell elite all surrounded by the rolling ocean and botanical gardens. Only in the poorer districts did one begin to gleam a true sense of both the political and environmental degradation that was eating away at the planet.
Doing a quick flyby of the Planetary Parliament Buildings to make sure the approach to the landing pad was safe, the three LAATs landed in perfect unison dispelling their clone cargo with perfect military precision. A tall Frozian stood surrounded by five men armed with what looked like archaic slugthrowers rifles and wearing puffy red and burgundy quilted shirts with matching leggings and a thick black belt that appeared to be made of nerf leather or something similar. Each wore a matching black bandana and vibrorapier.
Allowing the clone troopers a few seconds to secure the area, more for professional curtsey than anything else, Riwwel hoped down for the transport as the diplomatic team scrambled unsteadily after him. Even without turning around Riwwel knew the Nebet and her Jedi would be close behind, silent and watchful.
Wasting no time Riwwel headed straight towards the Frozian. Ignoring the Drucken Guard as tradition dictated, he gave the Governor of Durckenwell a courteous nod. "Governor Micambertoris, it is my pleasure to finally meet you in person. Admiral Ambiti has spoken very highly of you."
The governor returned the nod, extending his hands in a welcoming gesture though. "No Captain, it is my pleasure though I wish your visit to Druckenwell was under less grave circumstances."
As he spoke, Micambertoris' eyes betrayed a weariness that Riwwl could sympathize with. It was the weariness of a being who had fought with every ounce of spirit and courage they had and still found themselves on the losing side of a battle. "We are here simply to do our duty for the Republic Governor, for what it is and for what it can be."
The governor nodded gravely, a hallowed understanding in his eyes. "Such is the truth or the matter, Captain, though I fear this planet I have come to love so deeply is still to pained to listen with a calm and level head."
"Such as it may be, Governor, we still have to try."
"And so we must," Micambertoris replied in agreement. His eyes left Riwwel and seemed to take in the entirety of Republic's team for the first time. If the sheer volume of Jedi and diplomats surprised him he made no show of it.
Before the governor could address the entire team Riwwel's comlink gave an ominous beep. "Captain Riwwel," came Admiral Ambiti's chrisp voice, "We have a situation."
Inside Riwwel shuddered. "Riwwel here. What kind of situation, Sir?"
"Not good Captain. Six Trade Federation battleships just jumped in-system along an unknown vector. They're deploying fighters and landing craft as we speak and are attempting to take position over the pole. We’re moving to intercept but you’d better expect company."
Riwwel fought back a curse. Even with the three Republic ships already in orbit and the Druckenwell Defense Force on high alter, without additional forces there was no way they could last long against six Trade Federation battleships. "Orders, Sir?"
"Remain planet side. We're attempting to reinforce key positions with clone troopers and armor as we speak. Keep Governor Micambertoris safe until we can extract him and your team from planetside. Under no circumstances are you to allow the capital to fall to Separatist hands."
"Copy that, Sir. Riwwel over and out."
==========
OOC: Sorry for the long pause guys. Between house sitting two places, working fulltime and having to pack up all my stuff for the move back to university in less than two weeks I've been a little strapped for time. That said while things might be a little crazy for the next little while they'll settle down into a regular posting scheduel once I get back down to school.
That said I'm going to try for at least one other post before the week is out as well as one on the weekend.
Also, Sabarte - we're sorry to lose you.

As the larties settle down onto the landing pad of the Planetary Parliament, Kel decided that now should be safe to bring out his gear and start earning his paycheck. Within moments of touchdown bags were unzipped, holocams were on and his advanced audiocorder systems were booting up. Once the clones had the area secure, Kel hopped off the transport and began taking some establishing shots of the city. As the leader of the diplomatic party approached the large Frozian Kel made sure to get some decent footage of the beginning of the diplomatic process. Since Kel was only listening with half an ear, he didn't catch the comm call to Riwwel, nor the information that six trade federation battleships were just entering orbit.
Kel happily goes about his business, taking footage in preparation for filing his first report from Druckenwell.

OOC: My apologies one and all. Things at my end have been far more hectic these past two weeks than I ever imagined. I'm moving back down to Victoria tomorrow so once I'm settled in I'll have far more to post and a chance to settle into an actual schedule.
Thanks for the patience and sorry to the disappointment, I'll do all in my power to make ToC worth the wait.
Sincerely,
John

I owe you all an apology on several fronts. The first is in the lateness of this post, the second is the lack of any RP material in what I have to write.
Between university classes and my job even sleep has become a commodity. While September is traditionally the busiest month for us Resident Advisors (those of you who have lived in Residence will have some idea of what I've got myself into) my schedule shows little sign of lightening up even after this month comes to a close thanks to changes that were made to my position after I had accepted it. To be fair both you and myself, and to ensure that the time and energy required to make this game worthwhile is put in, I am regrettably going to have to step aside as the GM of Tendrils of Chaos.
I thank you all for the enthusiasm you have shown and for this fantastic opportunity. If there is someone else out there who is willing to take up the mantle of GM and keep this game running I encourage you to do so and will help in what way I can, when I can. To you, the players, I can only offer my deepest regrets that I could not continue explore this marvellous galaxy with you.
In all your exploits, both in a galaxy far, far away and those closer to home, may the Force be with you.
Sincerely,
John
