 Welcome to the light side of Star Wars RPG were the power of Darth Vader or Kenobi is not measured in levels and we're you are not boxed in by character classes, but were the players are able to generate exactly the kind of character they like.

Grab Star Wars Roleplaying Game, Second edition Revised & Expanded, 1996. ISBN 0-87431-435-6. Available on abebooks.com (until the moment I post this, I expect).
And house-rule in a few bits from current WEG "D6 Space", if you like. It has a few good crunchy bits I'm stealing. (That book could do with better editing and playtesting, however.)
