Greetings All Sentient Beings,
While I have not even touched the new Saga Edition of the SW-RPG I was wondering if there was any word on a KOTOR sourcebook officially. Or if there was anything online that would prove valuable. My dream game would be to set a game during this time period. Thanks for the info.

I don't like the Saga edition... 
But more I think about it...it might be worth it...just for KOTOR era play...
I want to see some stats! Ebon Hawk, Zayne, Gryph, etc.

I've heard similar rumors, but not for ROG Sourcebook; for the upcoming Vector comics. Star Destroyers influence the look of later KOTOR vessels like Leviathan and Ravenger... I'm not sure if it's 100% sure, though.

What's everyone's problem with saga? What's so bad about not having to roll 27 times for every little thing and not having to micromanage a million little skill ranks?
Oh well, i guess it will be like the d6 vs d20 argument someday. Some folks will stick with their old systems, the rest will make the conversion, and new players will decide for themselves.

I just think that the Saga edition is way too simplified. It takes the joy of RPG I'm used to.
I don't think that the conversion between 2000 and 2002 rulebooks was bad because they just added some new stuff, changed some problematic issues etc. But in Saga edition, hey basically changed the whole system.
But even though I don't like it, might start using it just for the KOTOR guide's sake.
The date has been announced for the Campaign Guide it can be preordered.
