I know my Rogue hates facing Magi in Arena. A good mage just pwns my face. Speccing shadowstep helped a bit with this, but mages just seem to have too much cc that force me to blow through all my cooldowns...Not much fan of Warriors, either.
And yeah.. I'm not raiding much right now either. Seems like alot of the second-tier guilds are having to dissolve due to lack of numbers. Everyone that I used to raid with has signed on with one of the big boys. I probably could, too, but just don't get that sense of accomplishment of being there on the cutting edge as our guild pushed forward with new content. I've run a couple of semi-pug raids and the people in there are just SO much better geared then i am... I feel like i'm getting charity epics. Not earning them.

What? Mage cc dominates in Arena. Incredibly fun to play too in all forms of PvP.
Representation as of June 1st.
I can't access Vhairis' blog from work, but his information is all there.
Basically, Priests and Warlocks are doing fine in 2v2. Rogues, Warriors and Druids are being very heavily played. Hunters, Mages, Paladins and Shamans are doing terribad. Mages get better in 3v3 (thanks to the stength of Mage/Rogue/Priest in no small part) and are fine in 5v5. Mages are fun to play, but Rogues eat Mages for breakfast. Unless there's heavy gear difference, a ShS Rogue should destroy a Mage. Monday night, I was doing Mage/Rogue with my 2s partner; we came up against a mirror match. We killed their Rogue, but their Mage finished me off. The Mage was wearing S3/4; my Rogue partner was in S1. The Mage was able to sheep my partner and get an invis off and drink and eat to full. My partner, heavily outgeared, against a pretty awesome player, never went below 40% killing him. My partner is pretty good (he's got 2000+ ratings on three other characters last season) but there's still a major class issue there.

Arrrrrgh. I just had my account banned again. "for intended exploitation of the World of Warcraft economy." Then they emailed me back 2 hours later saying that somebody unauthorized used my account. I don't get it. I've changed my password a few times and I run my anti-virus software regularly. Strange thing is that it keeps happening on the weekend. The only thing I did was last night I bought a whole bunch of cloth to get my first aid up from 0-125 in about 1 hour. Could this be it? Any ideas?

I've heard of people being banned for buying up all of one item on a server before. But normally they also turn around and sell that stuff at an inflated price as well. That being said, I've been making out like a bandit, selling Felsteel Helms at triple their normal value because no one else on my server has been selling them lately. I've actually been profiting while I level my Blacksmithing. Unheard of!

Okay, so i just got my priest to 70. Have almost 60K honour saved up to make some S2 purchases.
Now i have to make the big decision: Do i stay shadow spec (which i have just been having a blast with) or should i suck it up and go Disc/holy?
Right now i have every attention to hop into some 2v2 and possibly 3v3 arena as soon as i have her decently geared...I know the common-sense answer is probably "Go disc/holy", but i also am tempted to try to prove that a Shadow Priest can be viable in arena.
Anyone able to talk some sense into me? Any opinions?
My likely arena partners would be a warrior and a lock.

The Beta is live and there's a crap ton of information on MMO Champion (and elsewhere, I'm sure), including patch notes, updated talent calculators, instance drops, and profession stuff.
Amazing.

Yeah, we're in a real dry period for players being online.
I suppose one way to look at it is this is my chance to get into a big time guild! :P
Gratz on the down!

By the by, Kil'jaeden is pretty nuts. Easily the most epic fight in the game. It's like the moment phase 5 begins against Kael in TK, except that that moment lasts the entire fight. And it just gets more intense as it goes. It feels harder than M'uru, but slightly more forgiving.

Been stuck on Brutallus about six weeks because my healers can't get Stomp healing consistently down (or Burn healing consistently down) more than a couple of times in a 4 hours period.

Well, my mission has now become to try to level as many characters to 70 as i can before the expansion.. (And do arena as i get the characters geared.)
Started a Mage last night. Get kinda worried with all the QQ's on the main boards about how mages are getting shafted in the expansion, but i gotta say so far i'm having fun with my Troll Mage...
Going Ice..Love the control that it offers. I'm starting to understand why it is that these guys give melee like Warriors and non-shadowstep rogues a hard time...

I'm not a big fan of Sunwell so far. Kalecgos was a joke for our guild and we only had one Illidan kill below our belt and we three pulled him. Brutallus will be down in another week or two I figure as the rest of our casters decided to pick up leatherworking for drums (I did for BT just for kicks; I have farming toons so my herbalism on my mage went by wasted). I seriously lol at Kalecgos though. I have one piece of gear from a Tier 6 instance (<3 my Tempest of Chaos) and I topped the meters.
Tell me Felmyst and beyond are harder. Please.
