JO is not Episode VII. JA is not Episode VIII.
Episode VI is the last one.

If anything would be a sequel it would be the Thrawn Trilogy. And that's as close as it gets. No episode VII.

The second guy I think posted: Minikits? Superkit? " the Falcon, lukes speeder, x-wing, y-wing, ect. and a superkit should be the death star!"
It would make more sense, since the superkit for the first game was the rebel blockade runner [or Tantive IV, I suppose], if the superkit was a star destroyer.

StarkRhavyn posted: The next game needs to give you a little more motivation to collect the minikits by allowing you to use the vehicles in some open play battle mission, preferably multiplayer, of course.
I didn't like collecting all the pieces of the ships and not being able to do anything with them but look at them.
And then make the effect retroactive to owners of the first game by giving you a downloadable level for LegoSW1 to use the vehicles you've unlocked there. This would only work for Xbox, PC and Mac versions, of course. Screw the PS2'ers and my condolences to the GC'ers.
HOW DARE YOU SAY "Screw the PS2'ers" ! WELL SCREW YOU!

Would love to see KOTOR as Lego. That would be cool!
Don't worry JeedaiElf, Stark raving or what ever the hell his name is, is just a narrow minded fop! I have a PS2, Xbox, GBA-SP and PSP and this guy is just one of many gamers talking outta his, well you know what! The console wars are just for the grown up's with little child minds who play games. This mine is better than your's is just ridiculous. If you are an adult don't even respond to this kind of Imbisilic Statement. Let them pass you by and continue to enjoy gaming my friend! He has an Xbox (obviously) so cannot sample the delights of Viewtiful Joe 2, Tekken 5, Katamari Damachi or Racer Revenge. Silly him!

Off Topic- Man, I'm an o5er and I have a PS2, talk about rock and a hard place
aaaaaaanyway, Have they even announced this yet? I was addicted to the first and so I'm sure the (hopefully) revamped sequel will be the equivalent to crack.
Qualms about the first I'm hoping they fix:
Camera issues
Better saber combat engine
Space battle, only with more freedom (ie: In Ep III Ch.I the computer guided the ships, you just basically had to dodge things, I'd like the movement to be totally yours)
Actually have a use for those minikits!!!
Finally, this is kinda nitpicking, but maybe all around bigger levels for the chapters.

I think that a second Lego Star Wars should cover all six episodes. For the prequels it would use scenes that weren't in the first like Qui-Gon vs. Maul on Tatooine, the Gungan battle for Naboo, the Chase of Zam Wessel through Coruscant Mace and co. vs Papatine
Here's an idea for the game
TPM
1.Qui-Gon vs. Maul:Qui-Gon, Anakin Minikit:Speeder Bike
2.Capturing the Viceroy: Amidala, Panaka Minikit:Naboo Starfighter
3. Battle of Naboo: Tarpals and Jar-Jar Minikit:AAT
4.Droid Control Ship: Flying Level Minikit:Vulture Droid
AOTC
1.Chase through Coruscant:Obi-Wan and Anakin Minikit:Zam's Speeder
2.Jedi Starfighter vs. Slave I: Flying Level Minikit:Slave I
3.Finding Dooku: Obi-Wan, R4P17 Minikit: Jedi Fighter
4. Battle of Geonosis: Mace Windu, Clone Trooper Minikit:AT-Te
ROTS
1. Mace vs. Sidious: Mace Windu, Kit Fisto Minikit: ?
2.Order 66 on Utapau: Obi-Wan and Tion Medon or someone Minikit:Grievous's Escape ship
3.Attack on the Jedi Temple:Anakin and Clone Trooper Minikit:Jedi Temple
4.Yoda vs. Sidious: Yoda and ? Minikit: Senate Chamber
ANH
1.Tantive IV level from first game
2.Escape from Mos Eisley: Han,Chewie,Luke,Ben,C-3PO,R2-D2 Minikit: Luke's Speeder
3.Rescuing the Princess:Han,Luke,Chewie Minikit: Falcon
4.The Death Star:Luke, Leia Minikit:The Death Star
5.Ben vs. Vader: Ben and ? Mini Kit:?
6.In the trenches:Flying Level Minikit: Y-Wing
ESB
1.Battle of Hoth:Luke and Rebel Trooper Minikit:ATAT
2.Escape from Echo Base:Han,Chewie,Leia,C3PO Minikit: Echo Base
3.The Asteroid Field:Flying Level Minikit: Star Deystroyer
4.Dagobah: Luke, Yoda, R2D2 Minikit: Swamped X-Wing
5.Bespin:Leia,Chewie,Lando Minikit: Boba's Slave I
6.Luke vs. Vader: Luke and ? Minikit: Han in Carbonite
ROTJ
1. Jabba's Palace: Disguised Leia, Chewie Minikit: Boush's Helet
2.The Sarlaac Pit:Luke,Chewie, Lando Minikit: Skiff
3.Speeder Bike Chase: Luke, Leia Minikit: Speeder Bike
4.Battle for Endor:Liea, Han,Chewie, C3PO,R2D2 Minikit: AT-ST
5.Attack on Death Star II:Flying Level Minikit: A- Wing

Just saw a mention of this on the cover of a Nintendo magazine. Didn't see any actual mention of it being official here. So heres the old press release.
With a comical take on the Star Wars Trilogy that revolutionized pop culture forever (Episode IV A New Hope, Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI Return of the Jedi), LEGO Star Wars II follows the Rebel Alliance's battle to dismantle the Galactic Empire and rebuild a galaxy in pieces. From Darth Vader's pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her Blockade Runner to a showdown on the reconstructed Death Star, the game includes even more of the family-friendly LEGO action, puzzles and humor that earned the original LEGO Star Wars such popularity and acclaim.
Edit: Lol, search funtion lead me to this thread. Didn't see the other Lego: OT thread. For once search, was not my friendd.

I think this is so cool. You get to play the cliche battles and locales on yet another movie trilogy game, after 20yrs of already doing it. I honestly don't think a diaper can fortitude save my glee in time.
Only this time, it's a new look. What next, a black and white version to also look original?

My utilisation of complex locution to ask what's more pathetic, fans who worship their movie actors, or the actors who couldn't give a damn, is more a reflection of my own superincumbent mental actuity than any circumscribed lexicon. Don't you agree?

The original LEGO Star Wars was spectacular, but I'm just not as excited about the sequel. The joy of the first one was lightsaber combat. That will clearly be at a minimum in the sequel. I really didn't enjoy controlling blaster characters in the first game, so I wonder if this game might not be as much fun.

I like the game only because it is fun choppin up your enemies and shattering them into a bunch of lego pieces. But what I look more forward too this time is mixing the lego pieces to create "your own" characters with the pieces of different characters. This game looks fun, but I know I won't get it immediately.
