Reasons why I didn't like BiA:
-Voice Acting.
-Repetitive: supressing fire, flank; supressing fire, flank, etc. (but there are some parts that make it less repetitive, like having another fire team or being able to order a tank around)
-Weapons are grossly inaccurate (as in, you can have your crosshairs (iorn sights) on the enemy for 10 seconds and still miss with the garand or the kar. You can even unload an entire clip without hitting one enemy out in the open)
-Checkpoint placement sometimes far apart, sometimes close together.
-Can get fustrating at times.
-Your teammate AI can be stupid at times - they'll attempt to fire on an entrenched mg42 position, with the end result of them getting killed in less than five seconds.
...I can think of more. However, I still find this game to be enjoyable, and thus I believe it is only a rental. But that's only just my opinion.

what would you say to someone like me, who is a total tactical shooter nerd and just loves suppressing fire. I loved Full Spectrum Warrior and all you did was lay down suppressing fire. It was kind of like chess with machine guns.

I liked Brothers in Arms for the simple fact that it takes a TEAM to down a
tank, or some troopers. In games like these it's usually just one muscle bound
man going up against an army, which is virtually impossible in today's world.

...anyways...if you played FSW, then BiA is like that but is a FPS and set in the WWII era.
EDIT: Oh, if you do play it, don't be like me and accidentlly press "charge" instead of "supressing fire."

Here's a thread (I think people started stating their opinions around page two or something) from another forum that has people taking about BiA's highs and lows; I've read this thread through before buying the game and I though most of the replies were right on the mark.

I have a question about X-Box live and the req. for it.
I've got DSL with a Router through my phone company because the Cable Co. in my area isn't allowed to put in the high speed internet where I bought my house(lame). Will my DSL be fast enough for the X-Box Live?
I really want it but I don't want to find out the hard way my Online ins't fast enough.
In all honesty I'm probably not home enough to warrant paying for it anyway.

In all honesty, i'd hold off on the PSP a little bit longer until you can better gauge whether it's cemented itself into the marketplace as 'the next big portable', or if it'll fade away..
I think it IS the better system, but there seem to be alot of stubborn nintendo-supporters who aren't giving in with the DS..
I have a couple of friends who own PSPs who loved them at first, but are currently in the duldrums due to the lack of any real titles having been released, yet..

Forza is very good. There's a lot of tracks and cars in the game. I really like the arcade mode, where you can just pick any car and track. It's not like Burnout where you have to unlock all the cool stuff.

I would say it depends on what you are looking for in your game. Everyone says that JO was so much better. Story wise, graphics wise, and everything wise. Well I think that JO was good and so was JA. But JA has amazing multiplayer online, and it does have a decent story line. At least I like it *waits to be bashed*
So if you are all over the online gaming scene I would go with JA.

Do you mean are those games good enough? The answer is yes both games are amazing. Now to your actual question. Also Yes. KOTOR and HW2 are way more advanced than JO or JA, so you will be fine.

Again for the online/multiplayer game, go with JA. And Dial up works fine for me, so yes, DSL will kick its ass.
