Arotas_Starlight posted:I think it would be neat for there to be six story modes that (basically) follow each of the movies. Sorry if this comes out confusing, I'm tired and not thinking straight! For instance: - Each of these could start slightly before the events of the actual films allowing for the gamers to incorporate a little bit of EU (such as a battle from one of the clone wars comics or something). Some of these would re-use some of the maps only they would be slightly different (such as in BFII where on Dagobah Luke's X-wing is replaced by a clone ship during a clone wars battle) Episode I: You start as either a droid or a pilot for Naboo. (On occasion you can play as a hero) Maps: - The Droid seperatist ship. (Starts off with tutorial level of either flying the jedi's ship into the hanger or if you pick the droid you take a small scouting party out to scout the area) - The Naboo Swamp/Gungan City - Fight on land or under sea as armies invade Naboo. The under sea could be basically set up like space (only with sea creatures and gungan subs as ships) - Theed - escorting the queen to safety (Set up of the city is more like the level in Obi-wan) - Space above Naboo - passage through blockade, fly (and or protect) the Queen's Starship. - Dune sea/Queen’s royal starship - Maul shows up with a slew of droids as the ship is prepping for take-off. - Theed (palace) - Infiltrate the palace and fight to the throne room - Naboo plains - Battle of Naboo, updated (adds gungan shields) - Naboo hanger/space with main separatist ship - Fight in the hanger and take off into space for the final battle. Obviously I could go on and on and on detailing maps from the other five films, but I think this gives a good enough example of what I’m talking about. And of course all of these maps would then be available for Multiplayer/ Galactic Conquest.
Arotas_Starlight posted:That is okay for now, but I was assuming that by the time BFIII comes out it will be for the new consoles, meaning that it would have improved graphics and a lot more could fit on one disc. Plus, while they could add maps and characters online, it isn't as accessible or expensive, therefore Lucasarts profits would not be nearly as high as if they produced a whole new game.
