Bring back the Bespin levels. Take out Yavin and Felucia. The only EU I want in the game is more planets.
Also, let the Factions have strengths and weaknesses.

Even a system where you could give the AI an order of preference on CP's.
Hold this CP at all costs, then capture that one, attack two CP's at either sides of the map to split the defenses of the enemy etc

How about they make it so each side can only have one commander class at a time and what he can do is go to his map and chose a CP, just like when you spawn, but also enemy CPs, and issue the AI an order, defend or attack this CP...nothing too complitcated and easy to do in the existing engine...also have them be able to issue a squad command like it is now, but instead of highlighting the troops you want to follow you, say highlight an enemy troop and the clone commander yells blast him and all the AI go after that target....

Just decided to check this thread out. Haven't read the first 7 pages yet, but I probably will. I'm a big regular in the KOTOR III thresd. Anyways...
Space battles:
-Ditch the unique space classes. I want the same units in space as I have on land.
-Expand the maps, specifically the starships. Why do a Mon Cal Cruiser and a Victory Class Star Destroyer have identical interiors? Seriously, we have a massive ship area, why not use it?
-Allow someone to take the helm of your battleships like the Iwo Jima mission in BF 1942. It would be awesome to be able to perform a last-ditch kamikaze attack on the enemy's battleship with your own.
-Space heroes, perhaps with hero vehicles (Vader's TIE, the Falcon, Slave I etc.)
-Better use of frigates. Make 'em function like smaller, less powerful Battleships. Imagine flying your Blockade Runner into the Star Destroyer's blind spot and opening fire on their engines or something.
-Make the vehicles unique, which is to say accurate. A TIE/In is not a clone of the A-wing. The TIE/In does not carry concussion missiles. A TIE does not have Proton torpedoes, and niether does a Vulture droid etc. I also don't buy the Rebels and the Republic having identical gunships since the Republic became the Empire.
-Find a way to make closing S-foils work on X-wings. Preferably manually like in RS1 and not automatically when you boost like in RS2 and RS3.
-How about a B-wing?
Land:
-More units on screen at a time
-Bigger maps
- I like the idea of multiple heroes on a map, especially in multiplayer.
-Better AI commands. At the very least, go back to the commands from BF1. BF2 was terrible in that regard.

I think it might be nice to have a battlefront 3.
Here are some things that I think there should be if they make a Star Wars Battlefront 3:
1. Add more heroes like Luke Skywalker's wife, Mara Jade Skywalker, Padme Amidala Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, Anakin Skywalker on the light side, Durge, Obi-Wan Kenobi wearing clone trooper armor (just like in the Clone Wars Cartoon) Shaak Ti, Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi (at old age), Asajj Ventress, Jerec, Kit Fisto, Luminara Unduli Plo Koon, Captain Panaka, Wedge, Barriss Offee, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi from Episode 1, and Kyle Katarn.
2. For the Hoth level when you are playing as Rebel Pilot Luke Skywalker, give Luke a harpoon gun and then take down AT-AT Walkers by firing the harpoon gun under an AT-AT Walker, then use the lightsaber to slice open an opening in the walker and then throw a grenade inside and then watch the AT-AT fall (Exactly like what Luke did in "The Empire Strikes Back").
3. Add more space battles.
4. Add the Battle of Endor in Space, fly the Millennium Falcon, and take down the Second Imperial Death Star from "Return of the Jedi".
5. Heroes in space like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Darth Vader and Boba Fett.
6. Give Princess Leia Organa Skywalker Solo a lightsaber.
7. Luke Skywalker versus Darth Vader on the New Death Star like in "Return of the Jedi".
8. Bring back all the maps from the first Battlefront, which Battlefront 2 had left out like Bespin, and Rhen Var.
9. Add Jedi lightsaber duels with some heroes like Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Mace Windu, Aayla Secura, Saesee Tiin, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mara Jade Skywalker, General Grievous, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Count Dooku, Darth Maul, Asajj Ventress, Kit Fisto, Kyle Katarn, Jerec, and Leia.
10. Add planets from the expanded universe and the games like Salucemi, Nelvaan, Cato Nemoidia, Hypori (where we first saw General Grievous), the Jundland wastes of Tatooine where Luke first met Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi, Muunilist, Ilum, the Valley of the Jedi, Raxus Prime, Alderaan, Dantooine, the Trade Federation Cruiser where Anakin kills Count Dooku, Chandrila (Mon Mothma's home planet), Tanaab, and Corellia (Han Solo's homeworld). Also add the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4.
11. Assaults for most of the maps, not just Mos Eisley with only the music from the Special Editions and the 2004 DVD versions of the original three movies.
12. Add the Geonosis Arena.
13. The Clone Troopers looking more appropriate not just from the 501st legion.
14. Add Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca for heroes on Endor and also destroy the shield generator.
15. Add more vehicles like the Z-95 headhunters, the Raven's Claw, Wookiee Catamarans, Wookiee Flyers, Tydirium shuttles, Naboo N-1 starfighters, and the Millennium Falcon.
16. Add more maps on the planets.
17. Luke Skywalker having multiple Force Powers.
18. Add the Sail Barge Battle in the Dune Sea from "Return of the Jedi".
19. Add Leia in the golden slave bikini as a hero and give her a lightsaber.
20. Be able to add more targets on the massive ships in space battles.
21. Heroes fighting alongside each other in battles like Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia, and Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.
22. Multiple heroes on each map.
That's all and May The Force Be With You.

That would be cool, but it would make the walkers totally useless, Vader would have to guard them the whole game or Luke would just take them down as soon as they spawned everytime. Cool idea, but not really practical for good game play, maybe something for the single player modes.

That is what should have been done in Battlefront 2.
Also for Battlefront 3 (if there is one), the heroes definitely should be match with the weapon(s) on the opposing side. Like in Battlefron 2 (Although I never played this level), on the Tantive 4 (Civil War Era), Leia had a blaster but Darth Vader had a lightsaber. The same with Endor. Also for the Naboo and Poils Massa maps, they should have given a lightsaber to Leia. But Luke Skywalker against Boba Fett is okay to keep.
