I don't think that the AI at the beginning of the level should get their unlocked units. We have to unlock the units before we can use them, I think they should have to do the same. And the difficultly has to be increased. Elite is way to easy.

I do argee with blambo. Like maybe they could include a hero of one of the units. Like the Managuard were elite fighting units. They were smarter and stronger, so they should have a more powerful role concerning the droids. For the Empire, the Officer should be more stronger.
One thing is the guns that are used for the clones. In Star Wars Commando, there is an elite fighting force. The Clones should have a fast fire, SMG kind of gun. In Utapu in the 3rd Episode, some of the clones run and jump apon Spider Droids then blast them with rapid firing SMG/Star Wars blaster rifles. Those guns would make the game so much better. Not only that but adding in a little blood or gore would hurt. Got to make it realistic!

its harder to get a jedi hero but when you do he goes all unleashed
also new factions wookiees can have kento as there hero and such
thousands of people on both sides or at least give us the illusion of that

for the gazillionth time, blaster/laser fire does NOT cause people to bleed, because it cauterizes the wound, like a lightsaber. i do believe it should be more believable, but the blood should be saved for physical weapons(vibroblade, ryyk blades,claws, Imperial red guard vibrostaffs, etc) and bleeding bruises for blunt weapons like electostaffs.

Yes that is true. More varying guns. Not just the same model serving as a rifle, shotgun, and flamethrower. Detail on the weapons. I wouldn't mind if they did the battlefield approach where you unlock weapons by leveling. Weapons such as the senate guard ceremonial blaster rifles, stun guns, disrupters, weapons used in previous times, and others would be good, all of which would be available via the black market. Only then would it make sense for someone to be carrying a geonosian sonic blaster. The imperial officer should not have that gun by default, he should gave an smg type blaster (carbine?). And it would be nice to have a support class that carries a repeating blaster as in battlefield bad company where you get a light machine gun. But to make certain battles more realistic, certain classes such as demolition should be scrapped or replaced by others (as in small indoor battles where it makes no sense to carry a rocket launcher- rocket launchers should be used against vehicles, turrets, sniper perches, not infantry.) Vibroblade as a backup melee weapon would be good for certain classes. Blood does not exist in Star Wars because it is targeted at little kids. Booga booga boo.

It really depends on how much blood you have. If it is UT style, then sure. But I wouldn't mind seeing some realism.
As for making the weapons unlocking more Battlefield like, that is a must (although IMO the BF2142 system, with unlockable Weapons AND equipment, was better than BF2). Maps should also be huge, like Wake Island in BF2 (Brings back happy memories ). I mean, even the field battle maps were tiny in comparison.

You have a point with the point issue. However the guns/rifles/rocketlaunchers must be re-done. Having more and more weapons to choose from would be awesome. Like a stormtrooper or clone that can carry a mountable repeating blaster would be awesome. Being able to connect it to a stairway, or just placing it on the ground. The ability to go prone must be in the next one if they make it.

peole don't bleed when they get burned. Lasers burn people. Like Darth Either said the only blood you will get will be from melee weapons excluding lightsabers. There could be more gore like scorched people or something like that.
And there beter not be machine guns again. This is supposed to be futuristic.

repeating blasters, not machine guns. like the ones the snowtroopers employed in empire strikes back. and hoth should have those repeating blaster turrets from the movie. the tauntaun is just stupid to use in battle. can someone compile a list of blasters that could be unlockable? you know all those blasters from the kotor games? it would be nice to be able to unlock those "ancient" blasters. wookieepedia has a good list of blasters, such as the westar-m5 blaster rifle and the KX-60 Blaster Rifle and the wookiee disruptor. also a much bigger better hoth- where are the speeder bikes and AT-PTs?

yo know who are right. thats why u nevver see ppl bleed when they on fire. heat helps the blood from coming out of the wound

Sorry about the double post. i was going to wait but no one was posting and I didn't want to wait long.
I think that u should be able to melee with any weapon. Also there should be a bounty hunter era. Some of the bounty hunters I've heard about r really cool. And also an era like The Knights of The Old Republic. That would be awesome to be sith troopers.
