	We DEFINITELY need BATTLEFRONT III. But on the next generation console. 	Agreed...we need more juice to do it right, trick is not to waste the power on stupid stuff and just use the extra power to improve on the previous two games with better graphics and larger more detailed maps! ...and don't forget the strippers! -----signature----- "Oh. 	I'm ok with the graphics. It's the maps and number of spawns on the field that matter to me. Personally, I think they wasted too much memory on ground and area effects and debris in space when they could have beefed up other areas. 	One thing Im sick of is losing because all my teamates die! The battle should keep goin until they kill me or take all my command posts! oh and i think if you do lose all your CPs you should have a whole minute to take one back. Its impossible to take one in 20 secs.

It doesn't have the sales figures of BF1/BF2, but it KOTOR sure was far from a flop I can tell ya that. But I'll end it again on this note, the Rogue Leader/Squadron series stayed true to what people know for a LONG while, now look at the series, its pretty much dead with no chance of seeing a sequel. I'll just put it like this. Some say EU will work and some say it won't. All I can say is that Empire at War is going to be Expanded Universe HEAVY as it takes place between EP3 and EP4. We shall see how much EaW sells and what type of review scores it gets. If it will work with Empire at War and it worked with KOTOR and it worked with Jedi Outcast, what makes Battlefront 3 any different? But then there is always that saying of "If it aint broke, don't fix it". So its pretty much a two-sided affair that can go either way perfectly. DroidGeneral posted: Seamless transition. Ground-space. Hop in a ship on the ground go out to space and be in a huge space battle. With a next gen system, this could be possible. It would even be ok if it had loading times. I guess maybe more added to space combat. Being able to land on all ships. More maps. Better graphics. Maybe seperate story lines. Republic, CIS, Empire and Rebel story lines. Expand maps. Improve AI. I think the major change would have to be seamless transition from ground to space. That is a very nice idea brought up by the both of you. Just imagine fighting on some planet as a space battle rages above you. This way Space Battles and Ground Battles will go hand in hand. 	Sorry on the EU. I disagree. It will turn off a lot of folks. Most of the average public loves the movies and when they buy the game, they want environments from the movies. BATTLEFRONT II is full of environments that are practically EU - getting maybe a second of screen time. And still not getting some of the really important classic environments right. BATTLEFRONT I also had EU environments like Rhen Var - which are nice supplements in what should be a canon-heavy game. Lol :::Pats Hudnall on the back and ask him if he wants a class of water::: Lol, people, when I mentioned that BF3 should explore EU I didn't mean it in a way that BF3 should just rid of the PT/OT content and go completely EU KOTOR style lol. No, I'm not saying that. One of the heaviest selling points of the series is being able to relive the battles from the movies. Not the books, not made up battles, and not battles from other games such as the Star Forge (Space) Battle from KOTOR. No No No No No. With BF3, keep all of the PT/OT content from BF2. Hell, also add more from the movies like the EP1 Space Battle, something that was left out in BF2. Also add in a EP2 Geonosis Battle Arena map, another thing left out from BF2. That way BF3 will be expanding on its movie content (Mainly PT). However, on the flip side, does that mean that BF3 can't feature atleast 5 new planets that was created in the 20 Year Gap of EP3/EP4 EU? Battlefront 3: 80% Cannon & 20% EU That way Battlefront 3 will appeal to even a broader audience. Isn't that the goal? To make your games appeal to a larger audience to = more sales? That is what happened with BF2, a lot of the Prequel Trilogy purist loved BF2 because it had a lot of PT content but it still did the OT purist just by bringing in some new OT content such as the Tantive IV, Dagobah, and the Death Star maps. So with BF3, if it features about 3-5 new maps from the EP3-EP4 EU era, it would again appeal to more people. It will still have the OT maps/content, it will still have the PT maps/content + a few new more maps, and it will feature some new EU maps. Again, if BF3 was 100% or hell even 50% EU it could hurt the series and its fanbase. But 10%-20% How is that bad?
