I would bring back Bespin Cloud City, And improve it (like have that wierd platformy thing over that massive drop instead of the walkway.) Oh yes, and If you are Vader on there, and you beat Luke on that wierd platformy thingy, you will either...
a) See a Movie clip of Darth Vader saying "No. I am your father"
b) Just Hear Vader Saying "I am your father"

Technically Vader was on Endor, but for A Short Period of time.

I would Applaud a Death Star 1 Exterior level, and Id Also Improve the Interior.
a)The Fire Control room would be much better- You can fire the beam if you press a certain button. Also put where Leia sees alderaan being destroyed, and when the death Star fires, you see the beams joining together and destroying a planet.

An Endor Space level would be good. (With the Death Star 2 Which will fire on you. If you are the Empire, just head up to the control room, aim and Fire! you will not be able to destroy cruisers instantly.)

A Flyable Capital ship would be good. (One mission would be you chasing the Tantive IV as a star destroyer)

They should really tweak the maps, by adding as many as 15 command posts for some battles, make bigger battles, with insane spawn rates for bots, increase ticket count, add more options for vehicles in space, alternating times of bombs from bombers, etc. Recently I have been bored playing the small maps of Battlefront 2 and drew up some designs for a possible Tatooine: Mos Eisely/Dune Sea/Jundland Wastes all in one huge map, with treanches, turrets, tunnels through canyons. It would simply be amazing with a better squad system and more ticket count. Imagine holding out in a stone tower with tunnels and ledges, spotted with artillery and turrets, that would be fun. That's the feel I would want, and would even the game play, making the heroes rather weak in that enviroment, but at the same time still offering them. A map editor where you can arrange command posts, add more vehicles, etc. would be awsome for offline system link play, or just against a friend. What are your thought's on this?

i guess this would be okay for online, but offline it would stink because battlefront isn't a "make a battle field and watch the results" kind of game. the map editor should only be for online play. your idea on a better squad system I agree with, because battlefront 2 had the worst squad controls ever(1 button for all commands! sick )

I may be marching to my own drum beat by doing this, but to refresh what I said in the 2nd page of this thread, these are the aspects I would love to see in BF3.

In Battlefront 2 the storyline was only from one perspective, the CloneTrooper/StormTroopers perspective. We didn't see it from the eyes of the Droids or the Rebels. So with BF3, with the storyline that I mentioned, it should give us the choice to play through as the Empire or the Rebel Alliance. That will add to replay value.

-- Physics - Physics - Physics. A lot of the FPS/Action Shooter games today aren't just becoming realistic in the graphics department, but in the physics department as well. I believe most games today even Oblivion is using that Unreal 2.0 physics engine or whatever its called.

-- How about a Map Editor? This isn't a BIG trend but it is something that gamers enjoy. One of my favorite aspects of Tony Hawk 2X wasn't just the game itself, but the ability to create my own skate parks. Well in BF3, it would be nice if we could do the same. Create our own maps (Space and Ground) complete with command post, spawn positions, turrain, weather and much much more.

-- Create a Faction? This may be a shacky one but it could prove valuable. Its pretty self explanatory. I don't know how to explain it but you sort of get the idea.

-- Original Music. One of the greatest things I loved about the KOTOR games and Republic Commando (I love the new Banner btw wink )is that they had something that seperated themselves from all of the other Star Wars videogames. Yes they featured John Williams music, but they also featured their own unique music with a Star Wars taste. I'm not saying that BF3 should just toss away all of the popular JW tunes such as Across the Stars, Duel of the Fates, Imperial March, and Battle of the Heros. All of those should be in BF3 but it doesn't have to end there. The guy who did the KOTOR 2 music, isn't he under contract by LucasArts or something? Bring him on or someone else and let them create some tunes for the game. More than likely (Hopefully) there will be some new never before seen planets and it would be nice if each one had its own atmospheric music. The powerful theme for Republic Commando is probably one of my more favorite SW tunes and it isn't even John Williams.

-- Mixed Faction fighting. Even though I'm not a big fan of this, however a lot of others are so why leave this out? There should be the ability for us to put Rebels up against Clones or Rebels up against Droids and so on and so forth. In BF2 this was touched on briefly in the single player campaign on Kamino I believe when the Clones faught against the Stormies.

-- Mixed Faction Fighting part 2. In BF2 and BF1 it is always 1 vs 1. One faction against the other. Well how about 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1? How does the idea of having the Clones, Droids, Stormies, and Rebels all fight on the same map at one time? With the power of the PS3 and 360, this should be possible. This is the ultimate bragging rights online mode. Now people will really see whos better. I could play online as the Republic vs DroidGeneral as he has the CIS vs TIEInteceptor as he has the Empire vs Someone else who has the Rebels. This would be really be a nice feature.

okay well i don't agree with physics, map editor, original music,create a faction, and the between episodes 3 and 4 story line. all that really happens is the birth of the rebellion and the cleaning up of the remaining jedi. the music is fine how it is. battlefront doesn't need any new music because the music is so good. don't fix what ain't broke! but i'd like to see mixed faction fighting and a 2007 release date. please don't release it this year! praying

- I'd Like A Hero Storyline mode ( Such as a Heroes one (You start as qui gonn, then advance through all the heroes) For Example: One Mission could be The Death Star Rescue misson, where as Luke (or Han or Chewie) You must go through the Death STar (Map GREATLY expanded) and Find Princess Leia. Then you must escape. Also you can come across friendly command posts and change hero (From Luke you can change to Leia, han or Chewie). Same for Villans.
- Greatly Improved Objectives. If on hoth, as per usual just destroy the shield generator. then fight yer way through echo base and fine the falcon. Shoot at it, then it will fly away. On endor protect the shield bunker.
- Space Battles: Make it more arcadey. Allow you to fly a capital ship. Animations of a capital ship hurtling down to a planets surface if you defeat it. Space Heroes (Darth Vader= Tie Advanced). BATTLE OF YAVIN + DEATH STAR EXTERIOR AND TRENCH
- BRING BACK RHEN VAR, BESPIN etc
- ENDOR SPACE + DEATH STAR 2 INTERIOR
- MORE THAN 1 HERO PER LEVEL.

I disagree, there shouldn't be a hero storyline. That's just what the battlefront series doesn't want, a star wars jedi game. How common! Although I would like to see everything else come back. There should be a death Star battle, where you can be the empire and defend or be rebels and try to destroy it. Plus in normal space battles you should be able to go through the capital ships and take all command posts inside to destroy ship or take over and use against other capital ships. wink

It'd be cool if they went a little bit into the EU and let you play as the Empire under Thrawn. Also it'd be cool if you could position your troops yourself and give specific commands to specific squads. You could devise your own startegies and tactics. More planets. oh and also Durge or Asajj playable. and Karrde. and Major Tierce. and many other countless characters. Yeah I think I'll stop now.

okay i'm gonna have to disagree with you. first of all, the new patch allows you to be asajj, but there shouldn't be any more playable heroes. the eu should just stay out of the Battlefront series.

Why. The Battlefront series is basically EU. Yes it incorporates certain aspects of the movies, but only certain levels are basically ripped straight out of the movies (Knightfall would be one, Battle of Hoth another). Rise of the Empires levels between Knightfall and the Battle of Hoth (except the Tantive IV level) are EU. They are not mentioned in the movies, therefore EU.
