If the speculated future LucasArts project by Free Radical is SWBFIII like rumored, there is a strong chance that there would be a first person mode, or be first person the entire game, since Free Radical's specialty is in First Person Shooters. I think that would actually be kind of cool if the graphics are put up to par enough. if i'm going to get a first person view of the soldiers, their visuals need to hold up to the magnified view.

I really hope it's not first person. Plus I think it works better in BF as a 3rd person shooter since you're choosing different soldier classes.

In SWBF2 you could switch from 3rd to 1st person so I imagine they will probably keep it that way.

My thing is I want first person cockpit views liek Ace Combat!

i think that there could be squad based firefight. You know when you go to Instant Action a new bar apears that lets you choose your fighting mode SQUAD BASED or FIGHT FREELY. The samething with camaign mode.

For squad based fighting the whole entire teammate command is differnt.You can tell them to carry the wounded soldier or heal him, breach and clear a room, fire at a certian direction,stay quiet, stay down, and tell them where to move.You get a medic, 3 riflemen, 2 gunners, a sniper,and a grendier. You get to choose what weapons your medics get.You could also do teammate moves like hopping over a wall or climbing something. You can also interact with another squad like help with their wounded or switch weapons.

There needs to be some new vehicles and maps. For vehicles there could be an APC(Armored Personel Carrier)that carry up to 8 or 9 guys and ot droves fast.Some of the guys could be manning a turret or a laser beam.It varies on differnt teams.But the APC should only be on large maps since it wouldnt really any good on small maps.

Why not just have a squad system, like battlefield, where players can create or join squads during a normal battle? There would be more advanced commands for the squad leader than just the standard four. You'd also be able to spawn with your squad leader.

Now that I've finally got Battlefront II, I'm very, very disappointed in comparison to Battlefront I.

From a technical point of view and from the enhancements compared to the first game, this one is really great.

But, however, the whole "gaming experience" has changed sooo much ...

This isn't anymore the straightforward and purely fun game of Battlefront I .. There are too many functions now, too many things one could (and too often should) take care of ... Plus, the classes play so much differently now ...

The game has evolved into a pure FPS game in which you need 10.000 keys on your keyboard memorized (and your hand on it, because otherwise you'll fail).

Battlefront I is - compared to that all - sooo much more simple. That's why I prefer it.

Any Battlefront III game - I hope - should contain the "best of both worlds" : The simple, straightforward fun of Battlefront I combined with the *real* enhabcements of the new gameplay (the "heroes" are a really *great* idea ! Plus the medals !)

My biggest wish, however, is, that ANY Battlefront III contains ALL maps from BOTH previous games !

This is what I'm currently thinking about a possible Battlefront III

Anywho...BFIII seems a ways off now.
So sad when you look at all the crap games Marvel can p00p out and think why can't LucasArts (and whatever Devs they're contracting) at least release BFIII & KotOR III?

I'm hoping for a serious Galactic Conquest mode - epic big with online capability.

Psycho, I've been rewiring my hardline for my 360 so I have been on live about once in the past month. I did buy SWBF2 for the xbox for some old school action. Mostly been playing PC during that time while I get a new ethernet cord hardwired into my basement, but I should be backl on COD4 here this week with avengeance! As far as the rest of DSA, I know a lot are still playing COD4, I think GTA4 lasted about a week and got old. I know a lot are now playing Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 so that is probably why you aren't seeing that many of my guys.

As far as SWBF3, I'll bet you dolalrs to Pesos that it comes up as a tie in with Lucas releasing the Star Wars TV series or something. You know how they operate, always cross marketing their stuf.

I've been working for big corporations for long enough to know that them writing back to you means nothing. It's just standard boiler plate response they use. It never gets to anyone in the decision making process unless they get absolutely bombed with the same message!

acclamator
forward command centre
mobile assault cannon 1
mobile assault cannon 2

mobile assault cannon 4
spawn directly as gunships

cis

war room (where droids like homing spider droid are remotely piloted)
core ship
techno union ship 1
techno union ship 2
techno union ship 3
techno union ship 4
techno union ship 5

teh cis would have two other core ships in the background taking off, as this map contains mostly destructable command posts the battle will be a giant siege to see who can cause the most damage.

what about planet with the Fish People. idk what they are called or what the planet is called either but its a planet from Knights of the Old Republic. there can also be a map where you can see buildings getting blown up and debris flling from the sky that kill you
