Yes, folks, please be careful of story spoilers. The graphic novel and book may be out, but a lot of people are waiting to play the game first.

You arrived too late for me I'm afraid sad

I just hope you saved some other inoccent soul from ghastly spoilers though.

You have clearly NOT been paying any sort of attention. The "ghastly spoiler" turned out to be false because I had read old, outdated news.

I made a mistake, I admitted to it, and I corrected it.

You're essentially exposing to everyone on TFN your own immaturity and stupidity by choosing to not LET IT GO!

We're supposed to just ignore the fact that you got pissed off and tried to spoil everyone who just happened to be reading this thread? I'm sorry but a little bit of backpedaling isn't going to cut it.

I think it's funny how you're trying to lecture someone else about maturity.

Learn some forum etiquette and come back when you're a little more CALM.

You're the one going around telling people they need to watch their tones, and labeling them 'idiots.' Talk about needing to learn forum etiquette!

What kind of a hypocrite are you?

If you were so deeply TRAUMATIZED by a pseudo-spoiler and want to accuse me of "backpeddling", I will be waiting for you in personal message, plo-koom! I say it's time for this thread to be back on track anyway.

*looks in profile. chuckles as she's somehow not surprised*

Just had a chance to look at some of the game play video I hadn't seen before. Very nice stuff! Especially the junkyard planet. mischief
I only got to play the demo a few times, but I don't remember the troops/rebels attempting to cling onto each other or objects. Only rarely did they jump out of the way...unlike the game play videos. Did the self-pres stuff work better for others or is it just that the demo has a watered-down version of the engine?

Either way, I've gotta play it again. grin

Yeah, it does work really well, but it think it works best on the highest diffeculty of the demo, same goes for the jumping out of the way stuff. Pick Sith Master, when you force grab someone, have him float above a crate/another person for a second and he will latch on and you can twirl them trough the air together, pretty cool stuff.

Hey, does anyone know the alternate endings? Are there different levels for the corresponding endings?

Yeah, I played it on each of the difficulty levels. Maybe I just had a bunch of lazy troopers. Just have to wail away at them again, I suppose. tongue

NO SPOILERS HERE

I read the graphic novel for this... they were going on about how great the story was but I thought it was kind of lame... the premise was ok but the execution was terrible... I really hope its done better in the game.. and or Novel.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but I noticed an ad for the game on all of the schedule pages on MLB.com (the team sites), with a picture of Darth Vader in the calendar box for Sept. 16. Does TFU have a special promotional tie-in w/ Major League Baseball or is it just a simple ad?

The theatrics don't really get played-up until you thin out their numbers. When you have two enemies left, you can get them to flail around just like the previews. Everytime I try when the hangar is full of them, I keep dropping them when I take blaster shots to the head.

Grab(RT-hold), Lightning(Y), Impale(X), Cannonball(B)...
When only the best will do...

Anybody else try jumping down onto the platform in the hangar as its raising up with a new squad of Troopers? One of the Trooper's got stuck face down, in-between the floor and the platform...

I played through it again last night (must be like the seventh time) and I had a point when two rebels picked up the same crate and Galen lifted the whole thing into the air. I like that it's harder to move people when they're attached to heavy stuff. But yes, it's hard to get Euphoria to really kick in unless you weed out the enemies. Even then, you pretty much have to set it up on your own. Though, I did I have one on the bridge with the TIEs and the poles you can bend into their way to blow them up...I picked up the remaining trooper and was trying to hold in him in front of an oncoming TIE, but he grabbed onto the pillar instead and I ended up bending that up and out with him attached to it. When I let go of Force grip, he plummeted to his death.

Is shaak ti barefoot in the game? Isn't it kind of impractical?
