Man, I seem to be the only one excited about the DL content regardless if I have to pay for it or not, however $9.99 would be a stretch though.
My MAIN concern is why can't other models hold their lightsaber normally? I love the SA's reverse grip, but I can't really enjoy playing as obi-wan with that style, it just doesn't fit him, it would be like playing Obi-Wan with only the choice of a red saber.

Has anyone played the DS version? I'd be interested to know what it's like before I get it.

And have to re-animate all the character's moves? This is Lucasarts we're talking about, here.

No, it will self-destruct and melt your console after the 1138th play-thru.

Indeed...
The same company who's online VIP's vehemently denied that there would be a DEMO, or any DLC for the Nexgen games. As for re-animation of the alternate skins/costumes... one needs to not hold out hope for that... no-way that happens. They didn't even finish the achievements for the NexGen consoles, so there isn't a snowball's chance in Mustafar of them doing any animations for new skins.
$60 dollars for an unfinished game, and now we'll be asked to pay for the stuff that's already included (read: FREE) in the Wii and PS2 versions. With this course of action, LucasArts has proven that they only care for the cheddar, OUR cheddar...

Fighting Kazdan Paratus on Sith Master difficulty:
$!$!#$%!#$% WTF?!
That is so @#$%!@#$ cheap!
But I had plenty of life, how the #%@$!@#$ one single force push killed me!
#$%!#$%!
I cannot believe this $%$#%!#$%!
How in the bloody @#$%! is this P.O.S.-little-nobody-2nd-boss in the mutha@#$!@$ game so #$%!%& difficult!
...
Does anybody else think they made that bastard ridiculously difficult? Or was it simply that the programmer fell asleep when coding and the guy ended up with a completely wrongdifficulty level?!?

Paratus is the most difficult of all the Jedi masters the apprentice faces. Especially on the first play through before the force has truly been unleashed.

Took me nearly three hours to beat Kazdan on Sith Master. That was not really a very enjoyable couple of hours. There is a method to beating him, as with all the "bosses". Thus far, though, his has been the most complicated/annoying.

Is there a sure fire method to beating him? Coz for the life of me I can't figure it out. It's truly annoying that I almost get him down to 2/3 health before the first titan, I'm almost at full strenght, and then the bastard gives you a force push that completely kills you!

I run from him and slowly take him out with lightning.

In all honesty, you almost can't engage him head-on while playing thru with Sith Master difficulty.
I kept changing my tactics and at that level, I only attack with the saber when I get behind him, otherwise it's a guaranteed knockdown against you. He was by far the most difficult, even when all of my powers were maxed...

I finished the game on 9/30/08. It felt like I was getting one accomplishment after another. In short I believe this video game is worth buying.

One thing I noticed...try not to jump. If he hits you with anything (a push, an object) it not only hits you and docks health, but the fall really mangles your health bar.
The way I beat him was basically as follows:
1) Blast him with lightning (fully leveled, by the way).
2) Hit him with a Force push (knock him back)
3) Run up, take some hits off him while he's down.
4) Retreat.
5) Repeat over and over.
Once I figured this out, I beat him in a couple tries. Before this, I was trying to meet him blade to blade which didn't really work.

blade for blade didn't work on warrior, and i have doubts it would on apprentice.
one thing i noted previously is that to a point whatever ability you gained in said level is generally very useful if not necessary to beating the boss in that level.

I've tried pushing/gripping him after a semi-full lightning barrage (by semi full I mean that I left enough mana/Force/whatever to attempt the push/grip) and 99.9% of the times he ALWAYS blocks those attacks. I actually once gripped him and solidly threw him across the room but for the life of my I don't know how I managed it. The guy is simply hideously bugged/glitched.
Going blade for blade is basically useless, especially on Sith Lord or Sith Master, since the damage you may manage to inflict is insignificant while his combos are devastating.
