Yep. That's it.
And the way I see it, there is real reason to purchase the NexGen game when there isn't anything left to do after solving all the alternate endings. TFU on NexGen consoles will be like Assassin's Creed... once you finish it, ur done. I do plan on purchasing a used PS2 and that version of the game, just so I can see all the additional content... firsthand.

and Maderic, I too am at a loss for words on how, what, and why they would use the term 'Jedi trials'... especially when you have to battle Spectral-Sith Lords in the process. raised_brow

I think the Jedi Trial in the temple is supposed to be along the same lines as Lukes trial in the cave!

I'll probably get the wii version as well as the 360 version. The wii version just for the extra content, since there really won't be anything special about the graphics or controls (still no 1:1)

I hope there's decent replay value though.

Sure there's always the different difficulty levels and starting the game again with a fully powered up apprentice to look forward to.

Really eager to see the Spike TV special on Friday though.

Yeah Friday will be here soon!

The PS2 uses its own physics engine and has the Coruscant level where you go to take the Jedi trials (doesn't make any sense whatsoever, but whatever) in the busted up remains of the Temple. There you meet Desolous and Darth Phobos, who are apparently apparitions or holocrons or something of long dead Sith. This level is also in the Wii version.

So you get to face off in this level against both Darth's with the SA , then?

Yes, and apparently we will need all of our skill to survive against those ghosts.

I wonder will the saber combat be the same on the 360/PS3 - I mean in those Wii videos we saw the apprentice clash and lock sabers with Kota and then you had to tilt the nunchuck to overpower him, that looked pretty cool. I wonder will we get similar lightsaber clashes or will it all be about the Force when battling bosses.

I really hope we can actually have proper saber fights against other saber wielding bosses, instead of just using the saber to hack and slash at stormtroopers.

Tyrannus, from the clips I saw of the Jedi Temple scenes, I'd say the saber fighting is top notch.

I'm really hoping for some good Lightsaber dueling on my 360, and the opening level with Vader is probobly one of the things I am going to love about this game.

The only dueling we'll be doing on our 360's is 'in-game' as there will be no 'multi-player' or 'versus' modes.

Exactly! That's why I'm hoping the in game saber combat is up to scratch. I'm sure the saber combat has been adapted for the multiplayer/duel modes as was shown in the videos. I did see the apprentice doing that saber lock/clash with Kota in one of the videos but I'm not sure if that was in game or in duel mode.

I'm hopeful we'll get good saber combat on the 360 anyway - what's the point of the apprentice and other Jedi wielding sabers when fighting each other if not. I doubt it'll be all about hack and slash with sabers when fighting bosses.

I want the snazzy Sith Apprentice Robes, as I plan on sticking with Vader just so he can kick Palpatine's a$$ for once.
