EaW was amusing, but didn't really keep me playing.
I've heard good things about the expansion, so I might pick it up eventually, though.

There are several EaW mod projects out there. I don't believe one deals with the NJO era specifically, but there are ships available for that time period. At least models from the SW:Warlords HW2 mod - http://pff.swrebellion.com

I'll bring the beer.
I just bought a doz of Crown Lager, did 2 shots of Absenthe straight up, and have a bottle of Scotch and a Bottle of Kahlua. Might sit this one in and play EaW Rebels, and try finish the Da Vinci Code.
...I also have chips.

I personally play EaW more than any game I own and find it to be quite enjoyable. I can't wait to get FoC.

Man, **** playing the movies. I'm so sick of every damn game advertising "PLAY THE MOVIE" I have the movie. I can watch it if I want. It is not necessary for them to make 15 games based around the movie setting.
That's why I want a NJO game with this engine. I'm sick of blowing up Ties or fighting pirates, or going back to Hoth. I want New Republic vs Vong vs Imperial Remnent. I want to play the ****** battle of Courscant. I want a new TIE Fighter game.
The last part had nothing to do with EaW I just always say it.
