I'm confused about Wii. Is this another new system? Does that mean this game wont be out for GameCube. I'm sick of all these systems, I thought N64 was good enough, but Game Cube is sweet. But I'm content with that. lol, so is this game for Gamecube or this new Wii thing>?

SSBB is an exclusive title for the Wii, Nintendo's next-gen system. It does however, use the Gamecube controller.

Yup- new system. It's what allows for the graphical upgrades shown in the teaser trailer (with their GCN incarnations being upgraded to their Wii incarnations...except for Kirby, who looks the same ).

The Home Run bat requires almost perfect timing, and can be extremely dangerous when used by an experienced player.
It also makes for a great throwing weapon. especially if you can gauge how far it'll bounce up after being thrown to the ground.
With great timing, the fan is downright nasty. Nock 'em up to over 100%, then give em a good wallop by chucking it at them, then rush in for a dash attack. It's almost poetic

I wouldn't be surprised. I'm sure he'll have multiple skins to choose from.

Yeah. I'm hoping this time around the character skin changes won't be simply color-swaps. It would be great to play with different Samus power-suit designs, or different Wario costumes (classic and WarioWare versions, for example). However, I don't know if they would do that, since creating original skins would take much more work than just doing recolorizations.

They may have the memory space to do so though Afterall, Pikachu, Pichu, and Jigglypuff got different hats.
Instead of different Mario colors (which were still very creative by sneaking in gameboy-ish colors, SMB 2 colors, and Wario's colors) we had fire Mario, racoon Mario, hammer bros Mario, etc.
Link, you couldn't do much with. I like the fire vest, water vest, and shadow link. But who was the white supposed to be? I suppose they could make Omni Link from MM...
Samus is a no brainer

What character were you?
I was Falco, I think...
I personally don't like to use items that much. If I do play with items, they're set on the "Very Low" frequency. They give either an unfair advantage to a stronger player or get in my way. The explosive boxes and such annoy the crap out of me! SSB should be a game of skill, not a game where a pansy runs and throws Pokeballs at the other guy.

That's why you catch the pansy's pokeball and throw it back at them

How about I don't need to?
I just catch up to them and then they're pwn3d. Really bad.

The only returns we know for sure are Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, and Samus.
