I busted Melee out cause I was a little excited about this the other day, and I suck. I got spanked royally in adventure mode on hard. I shall have to practice before going online with this.

Good luck with that. I personally think I'm pretty good at Melee, primarily with Roy and Fox. I just love being them for some reason...

No kidding. Although he's kinda slow on the attacks. When I play head on against my best friend, who used to live on this game, he'd always be Falco and I'd be Roy. Most of the time he'd beat me when I tried to charge up my B attack, but when it connected... I've never seen a more funnier face on anyone.

You killed it... or at least you would had I not found this piece of grim news at smashworld today.

This guy translated some of the Japanese QA, and it's confirmed that not all of the 26 melee characters are gonna make it. I don't think they are killing all of the clones, because some of them are getting a new move set along with several independant characters.
 I hope this means a new sword for Ganondorf. Maybe some long range magic, too.

I hope this doesn't mean the end of Falco! Young Link should be a no-brainer to get rid of. I'd drop the Ice Climbers as well, I was never a big fan of them.

Dr. Mario is almost a shoe-in to get the boot. Pichu should get thrown out, too.
Young Link... maybe, but I think it would be cool if SSBB had both Twilight Princess-style older Link and a Wind Waker styled Young Link.

Most people find it laughable that they'd remove Falco or Ganondorf, the two most frequently used clones. It's more likely they are going to get new moves but still keep the over all feel of the characters the same. Ganondorf will still probably be relatively fast for his strength and weight and Falco will still be considerably strong for his speed.

The SSBB site updates again, this time with Zero Suit Samus and Wario. The info on ZS Samus is interesting; it almost makes her sound like a dual-style character, like Zelda/Sheik from SSBM.

The info on Samus makes me think that Zelda/shiek is one of the characters to get the boot. Damn. 
They could do without Dr. Mario
Pichu was absolutely useless seeing as most of its own moves hurt itself (novel idea, but... why?)
Jigglypuff's sleeper move was damn powerful, but I won't mind seeing her go.
Ice Climbers could be replaced by Kit as the nifty far retro character.
Wario may have replaced Bowser, but I hope not
Young Link can either go or become a more refined character.
Same with Falco.
Roy or Marth may be gone.
I don't mind them getting rid of clone characters. I just hope Zelda comes back in some form as she's one of my favorite characters in vodeo gaming 
Maybe a TP incarnation?
