I have a Wii, but compared to a few years ago, I don't really play as much as I used to, so it doesn't bother me as much.

Hey! I have Xbox Live (Silver, for the time being) now!
My gamertag is Jentendo64. Through some complications with Xbox Live and me being an idiot, I tied up both Jenntendo and Jenntendo64 with different Windows Live ID and got stuck with what I have now...only one "n" in my gamertag.

According to Media Create sales data as chronicled at NeoGAF, the unthinkable has occurred. For a period of seven days, the Xbox 360 sold approximately three times faster than the PS3. Does this prove that the PS3 is in fact just too big for the Japanese to ever truly love? Or could that new JRPG just released in Japan last week have something to do with it?
Either way, Microsoft of Japan take note: Have whatever happened last week repeat itself for the next 156 weeks, and you may just have a chance at getting the silver in this generation's console Olympics (at least in Japan).

Question is, will Final Fantasy XIII have the same result. If the 360 version beats the PS3, that could really shake things up.

I find that extremely unlikely, because that's not an exclusive (like Vesperia is.) Since the install base for the PS3 already dominates the 360 in Japan (as they acknowledge with that 156 weeks comment) I doubt it will sell anywhere near the numbers on the 360 it will on PS3 (in Japan).

Most likely, it's a temporary fix and you'll get it again soon. I'd be cautious when playing games on it because you're probably going to be experience some freezing before the Ring, so save often.

I bought an 360 yesterday and have a little dilemma connecting online. I wonder if anyone here might be able to help:
Our PC is connected to a wireless router and is in the den. The 360 will be in my room. I have a laptop also in there. Is there any way to simply run a cord through the laptop and have the 360 get the internet that way? Simply connecting the two didn't work as it did not find an IP address.
My other question is does the 360 have to have the xbox 99.99 wireless adapter or will any wireless adapter work? I'm loathe to pay 99.99 for something if I can find a cheaper version at best buy or wal*mart.

You need the official adaptor.
And you might be able to connect to the laptop by bridging the LAN connection, but I think you might struggle to connect to Live that way.
Can't you just get a long-ass CAT cable for like 10 bucks?

There's no good way of getting a cable from my room to the den with the layout of the house. Thanks for the help.

In that case you have the following options:
a) Buy the official adaptor.
b) Create a wireless bridge using a router or dedicated bridge hardware.

Finally got myself a 360, and it's bloody great! Enjoying GTA 4 muchly at the moment.
Does anyone know of any decent arcade/mario kart style racing games for the 360? The only ones I've been able to find so far have been Full Auto and Flat Out, are there any others?

Is Burnout available for 360? That would be your best bet for arcade racing, IMHO. Though they aren't kart-style racing.
