Holy ****, the co-op mode looks absolutely fantastic, and even -- dare I say it? -- stunning.
I've been waiting for this game for ages, and these three videos, despite Molyneux droning on, are just brilliant. I'm an unabashed co-slop whore. If they made Britney's Dance Beat 2, I'd probably try it.

I'm an unabashed co-slop whore.
Me as well. I had more fun with co-op Dynasty Warriors than I had with all the half life two episodes put together. (This is not a hyperbole. DWE5 is actually pretty fun in co-op conquest mode with custom characters.)

Different GDC video about co-op
They also bring up sex and the whole Mass Effect/Fox News mess (Molyneux calls American's crazy, hahaha)

Don't have to have played the first one to play this one, which takes place like 500 years later. Only advantage will that you might get a few of the jokes/references.

Fable 2 had a bunch of stuff released today.
The page in the link is french but it has a trailer and a bunch of pic that have re-ignighted my interest in this.
It comes from mircosoft players day I think same as the viva pinata 2, too human ect

That article amazed me...all of the code is nearing completion as of May? Holy crap, does actually mean that Molyneux's ahead of schedule, and is gonna deliver on everything promised this time?
This bit, though, is what caught my eye most of all:
"There's a hell of a lot more sandbox," Peter says of the world. "There's also the fact that every single building, even the dungeons, are buyable."
Hell yeah. Now at long last I can have that dungeon full of slimy, tentacle-raping hose-beasts I've long been lusting after. Sweet.
The entire article got me wet, and made my one-eyed wonder weasel tingle with joy.

2player Co-op looks sick. I don't know if I like the idea of using a gun, though. Does anyone know if it'll be like a shooter game when using the gun?

New IGN article up:
The choices you make not only affect your hero, but the rest of the game world. Early on in Fable 2, you will be given a quest to find five arrest warrants. Once you find them, you can choose to deliver them to the sheriff, or hand them over to the band of thieves who are supposed to be arrested. Choose the former, and ten years later this dynamic region of Albion will be an affluent neighborhood with no crime, and will be a booming trade center. Choose the latter, and in ten years you'll find the place has become a slum, rife with crime. Every choice has a consequence in Fable 2.
More can be found there. And a parallel IGN piece is here. Damn...if Molyneux actually pulls all this off, forget food and sex for about a month or two (or three). And I'm already perilously close to that zone right now with GTA IV.
This is Molyneux we're talking about, of course...but again, sounds like he's ahead of things this time around.
The Xbox 360 is having another stellar year, as far as major, "AAA" game-releases go (GTA IV, Ninja Gaiden II, SW: The Force Unleashed, Lost Odyssey, Devil May Cry 4, Gears of War 2, Fable 2). Now, if only Resident Evil 5 were also on the way before, say, November-ish.

I imagine it probably won't be any faster-paced than when you used the bow in the first game -- and firing a flintlock, blunderbuss-type weapon will likely entail even longer reload-times.
So I wouldn't worry very much about it turning into Gears of War 3 (I don't think they're including any chainsaw-guns...that I know of).

...Incidentally, though, the more I think about it, grabbing and using Hobbeses as frightened, living hostage-shields while shooting guns at enemy sorcerors when surrounded by 10,000 hacking-and-slashing swordsmen would be ****ing AWESOME to behold.
"Splinter Cell"-style. Especially if you're playing as an eight-and-a-half-months pregnant chick who's about ready to pop.
And if they just happen to eat a bullet or thirty, well, their corpses would still be quite useful to you in the good ol' "Total Recall-on-the-subway" way...
(Lionhead, make a note.)
