I think Carmen's power is "healing" since she's a nurse and all. Just like Kiki can help you when you're in trouble with the law-dogs.

Wish I'd done that for two or three other missions.
I've done that for so many missions that I only have my main progress save and my autosave left to use.
Why do they limit saves? Bah!

timmoishere posted: I haven't gotten to that mission yet. I've only just started working with Elizabeta, McReary and Playboy.
Handy Tip:
Once you have a friend's "Like" level where you need it (to unlock their special ability), you never have to do anything with them again. When they call you to do something, say "yes." Then call back and cancel your plans. Their "Like" level won't budge. Now you can go on killing people instead of playing darts.
I hope Brucie doesn't die. He's hilarious. I think it's because he's the ALPHA, bro! **** yeah!!
Fact Of Life #29310: No one's genetically superior to a bullet.
Here endeth the lesson.
-polymath- posted: For whatever reason I hadn't started the Packie missions until tonight. I had already capped Playboy and did several missions for UL Paper and Francis. I finally got around to the Packie missions and the first one alone is awesome. I read about the three leaf clover mission and I am heading straight for it. It sounds awesome.
I felt like such an ass that first "Cops-'N-Crooks" match I ever played.
My very first online match, I get stuck being the Boss, and within a minute of the round starting, the cops are absolutely raining bullets at everything and everyone around me. I hop in the first car I see and speed off with reckless abandon, trying to keep an eye on the minimap while soaring down the street, dodging cops.
Oh a bridge, I'll take that. Oh, the bridge isn't complete, I'll just jump that little spot. Oh, my car sucks and didn't make the gap; I'm falling into the mother****ing ocean. D'oh!
That last deathmatch-round tonight was great, though. My Korean chick kept stealing cop cars and smashing into all the players I could find, and occasionally eating a bullet to the head through the windshield.

It finally happened. Microsoft (a company I now officially hate) is sending me the box to ship to them for repairs.
No Grand Theft Auto IV for at least a month for me.
They send you a box? With prepaid shipping and all? How come they didnt offer me that when my console died of RROD a couple of months ago?!

-polymath- posted: Absolutely love this game. I just met Kiki online and we set up a date. I went to Perseus, bought some nice threads, grabbed some shades, took a cab down to where Faustin "used" to live, and picked up the sports car for the date.
I go and pick her up. She's nice (much cooler than Carmen ever was), and take her to a bar to get her drunk. First thing she does is mock my car. My sports car. Dumb woman. Get to the bar. She gets drunk. I get drunk. We get in the car and I take her home and she starts yelling at me for checking out other women in the bar and how she would use her position in the Courts to screw with my life...all because she's drunk and claims I was checking out other women in the bar. Got her number. I dig this chick.
So I started dating Kiki. Took her out for a meal, drove her home and got her digits. I save my game. It's late at night now. She texts me a message saying how much she likes me and wants to see me. I call her up, asking her out. She tells me it's too soon to go out with her again. I'm thinking "wth" and hang up. A few minutes pass, she texts me again with the same message, called her up again and got more or less the same reply. Now I'm getting a bad feeling here. A few moments pass and another text comes in, telling me if I can spare some time away from my other @$#%!s to go see her. Now I'm thinking "WTF, do I really wanna date this chick?". If I'm correct and the perk of dating her is to get out of jail free with my weapons, I sure hope the perk is truly worth of the abuse I'm gonna endure. Will dating the nurse from Bohan (SoboHoe?) give you the free medical perk?

I think Carmen does give you free medical/health.
Kiki is crazy, no doubt, but that's what makes her special.

Speaking from RL experience, crazy broads turn me off something fierce. If not for the heartbrake they caused, then for the berzerker rages induced by their insanity.

Carmen: lets you restore health by calling her, I think.
Kiki: lets you remove up to 3 wanted stars by calling her.

Two questions:
- Where the hell is the helicopter at/near the airport? I found it once, but I had a four-star wanted level, so I didn't note exactly how I got there. I spent 45 minutes trying to find it again, but couldn't. It's driving me nuts.
- What's with the occasional icon that pops up on the map shaped like a person? Are those the "random" people-meets mentioned in that one Achievement? I stopped at one on the way to meet Roman, and it was just a short cutscene with a rich-bastard guy taking about the American dream, and it ended with him giving me 100 bucks.
The trick to bowling: take two full steps to the left, and GENTLY throw the ball straight down the lane.
-polymath- posted: The other three dating prospects, Michelle, Kate, and Alexandra (???) have no "benefits" right?
Michelle and Kate, no real benefits to speak of from dating them...but they're "storyline dates," and something happens with each of them later on.
Given the half-a-billion-dollar haul GTA IV just raked in, I'd like to think that Take Two's asking price just went waaaaay the **** up.
I know it's inevitable, but I rather enjoy seeing companies that aren't owned by EA. Give it a few years, though.
Also, I managed to make it to the top of the Silvercup Building, and attempted to recreate the ending of Highlander, which then devolved into me shooting passersby down on the street with the M4 Carbine and G3SG/1 sniper rifle.

Can Niko acquire a katana in this game? I've seen them on the television but not in the game, yet.
