Also, if you guys are looking for a fun server (custom maps also), I usually (key word) find the people on the www.joe.to severs to be fun. "All talk" is on and it's fun being a spy and saying "I'm not a spy!" when the enemy notices that you're a spy and starts shooting at you. When I play TF2, I always play there.
BTW - I am in no way associated with them or the website, so I'm not advertising for them - just a recommendation on a good server.

I hope this weighted companion cube can stick around longer than the one in the game.

Picked it up a few days ago.
I'd already played through Portal on the 360, but TF2 on PC's rather fun. Already joined the steam group.

I'm officially on holiday break now
but I'm gonna replay KotOR (even though I hate it - go figure) and EaW, so it's not like I'll be in TF2 24/7

It would be better if it had some kind of play controls so it didn't keep stopping and starting.

Yeah, though after the first loop it runs smoothly. And if you wait long enough the gnome appears in the foreground, staring into the camera.
Also, Steam has Aperture Labs Holiday Greeting Cards:
"If the Weighted Companion Cube could speak---and the Enrichment Center reminds you that it cannot---it would wish you and yours... All the Best this Holiday Season!"
"Hoping you and yours will willingly assume the Holiday Escort Submission Position this Holiday Season!"
"The Enrichment Center reminds you that any appearance of danger is merely a device to enhance your Holiday Experience."
"Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit, and I said, 'goodbye' and you were like 'No Way!' and then I was all 'we pretended we were going to murder you' and then I sent you this Holiday Greetings card? That was great."
"The Enrichment Center reminds you to Have a Happy Holiday until you are instructed by a supervisor to discontinue having a Happy Holiday."

I just finished Portal... Wow, that was fun! Can't say enough good about that game. Just the right degree of difficulty to make me think without ever really frustrating me. Excellent sense of humor. I loved it; totally worth what I spent on The Orange Box for Portal, alone.

Guess I ought to give it a try, can't be any worse than the over-hyped Half-Life 2. Said game has decided to opt for infinite enemies - I had no tolerance for the notion in Metroid Prime 3 nor do I here, infinite enemies = programmers not quite as smart as they think. Shame really because HL2 does have a lot of good ideas but are they screwed in their execution.
