I've been looking forward to something new related to Ghostbusters. This all new Ghostbusters video game will be awesome. Just remember: Unless it's the only way to win, don't cross the streams, also if someone asks you if you're a God, you answer "yes". I'm getting excited about playing as the Ghostbusters.

The other thing that worried me about the footage was that most of it did look like scenes pulled right out of the movies...the library ghost, slimer...the ballroom, the courtroom.
If this is suppose to take place after the second movie, why is this here? Are they revisiting these places? (or was the original premise a straight up movie game, and now they are remaking it while incorporating that work already completed.)
I hope they bring some of the ideas from the animated series in....THE BOGEYMAN! He was the creepiest thing ever on Saturday morning!

I'm not sure if there will be any ghosts from The Real Ghostbusters in the game. But you never know. There could be some surprises. I'm wondering if Gozer or Vigo will be in the game. It's going to be exciting to play as Peter, Winston, Ray, and of course my favorite, Egon.

Looks cool. I loved the first Ghostbusters movie, but I never saw the second, nor did I ever get around to watching the cartoon. But this looks excellent. I can't wait to see how it plays on the Wii.

I'm hoping the "movie levels" are just the early stages, to act like training levels. Or are only the first section of the game (it'd be great to essentially contain a "trilogy" in the game- part 1 is the first movie, part 2 the second and part 3 is the brand new "sequel").

Reminds me of the episode in The Real Ghostbusters where all the ghosts the GBs had caught over the years were set free and they had to try to recatch them all in a night or something. I think the StayPuff was the last one....thoguh he was more friendly in the series

This all looks great and I'm very eager to play the game when it is released... but every screen shot and the little bit of footage that I've seen seems to be straight out of the first movie!
Whats the story with that!

Absolutely can't wait. Ghostbusters is one of those films I've seen god knows how many times, loved since childhood, and just can't get enough of.

this game looks awesome, hope I'm first to say it, but what about GTA: GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!1!!!1!!!!
I had the original C64 game, which totally rocked. I had the game second hand, got the c64 with about 300 games for a fiver from my uncle when i was 4 or 5. Someone had very kindly put in a code in the back which gave you about $16000 or something, giving you access to the fastest car and best equipment from the get go.
Trying to line the two guys up and trap slimer was great, if not tedious. This game looks awesome though, I'm pumped, I just hope it's grandiose in the cheese factor as the movie was. "we caused a lot of damage to your dining hall, but we caught the ghost, so hail us, don't bill us." Kinda thing.
