Well for starters you could try posting this topic in here or in here for some more info.
I'd say yes though. If you follow the second link it is to the Best of Bundle for SW that includes the RC game along with s couple better ones (KotOR and JO) and other good stuff too (EaW and BF) for the price of one normal game. So yeah check'em out, that bundle is well worth it.

Yes, once you get used to the skipping Trannies. It's solid, fun, a little short for some people, but was a decent length for me.

Republic Commando is awesome. It was definitely one of best SW games of the last 5 years. It's ashame that the franchise is dead thanks to SW crapplefront. I was just thinking how well the cover system from RC would have worked in Mass Effect.

Yes, worth it, and online is good, but the only thing missing from it pretty much is vehicles, its thought of alot else.

I wouldn't call it a cover system. The cover system in Mass Effect was fine, it was exactly like Rainbow Six: Vegas, which was dang near perfect. If you're talking about the squad commands, such as snipe behind cover and grenade behind cover, yes, those commands would have been nice in Mass effect.

Maybe I live to close to San Francisco. But the phrase "skipping Trannies" puts a very disturbing image in my mind.

I wish they'd make a 360 version for it - I loved playing it on PC/Xbox but it'd be really sweet with achievements and such. Or they could just make a second one...that'd be fine too.
