I beat the Genesis version back in the day. That was a great game. Ah, the days when movie-related games didn't suck.

No, there were still a lot of movie-based games that massively sucked, even back then. The ones that succeeded were the ones that did games inspired by, but not directly following, their movies.

I still have trouble deciding if I should call this my most favorite game or not. I got it way back when I was 5-6, didn't beat it until about a year ago. It was those stupid eggs. The closest I had previously come to completing the game was only two eggs. Two measly eggs. But then a couple years later, I found them and all was well.

The end.

Also, for those interested, I converted the original music files to mp3 format and handed them off to VGTunes, so if you want the "real" music in a listenable format, I suggest you go there (though who knows where else it might have popped up since).

Finally, was I the only person who absolutely loved the dilophosaurs in this game? They were so cute with the frill and the hopping and the spitting-of-blue-venom/acid-blobs. Awwww.

I bought the DOS version last year.

Haven't tried it, though.

I beat the Genesis version. Good game.

I always love seeing those 90's shooter Jurassic Park games at old school arcades. That game brings back some memories...

I used to rent this game all the time for the SNES when I was little. Only recently my friend manage to get hold of the SNES game and The Lion King for me. Both were my favourite third party SNES game back in the day.

Only once have I finished it, it took me over 5 hours non stop to get there. One of the hidden areas in the 'mountain' area was very confusing and spent ages going around in circles.

They were my favourite too (not to mention my first JP Toy). I liked it how their heads are tilted to side in the FPS mode inside the buildings. Speaking of toys and all the Kenner logos in the game, it feels like the dinosaurs and Grant were based off the toy versions.

It be great if Universal Interactive recreates that game in 3D... Or atleast Nintendo goes through the proper channels and those early JP games available on the Virtual Console.
