This was one of my favorite games as a kid. My brothers and I would spend hours playing it together. I can still remember how excited we were when we realized we had to fill the trophey with beer to get the uber-strong Nazi, Biff drunk so he could be punched out. Good times. What's really shocking when I think back on it, is how many branching paths this game had. Fight the guards or talk your way by them, give the Nazi's the Grail Diary or trick them with another, take the zeppelin or go right to the biplane (if you can start it that is). Tons of replay value!

Pretty hard compared to the ones that followed though (though less extreme than Zak). I don't think I ever finished it because I had no Grail Diary.
Punching Hitler = awesome though.

Star Wars titles brought in more money than original IP and didn't really need to be marketed due to in-built fanbase. No company is ever going to turn down more money for less work.

It was a rhetorical question.

Well, you should have marked it with a 'face_rhetorical' then.

The Article posted: In 1994/1995, a man named Aaron Giles joined LucasArts with the job of porting a number of their titles to the Macintosh. Although it was not requested by management, Giles made Mac ports of Day of the Tentacle as well as Sam & Max Hit the Road in his "spare time," simply because he loved the games so much, and he eventually convinced the powers-that-be to sell the ports officially. A Mac user himself, he also went above and beyond in ensuring that the Maniac Mansion easter egg would be carried over to the Mac port (an effort which including writing an emulator), a feature which was assumed would be dropped, since Maniac Mansion had never previously been given a Mac port.
Wow. I did not know this. I originally played both DOTT and S&M on a Mac. Big thanks to Aaron Giles for bringing me two games that I love!
