Do you have a showreel, demo-reel etc of all the games you've worked on previously (even if just mods)? Also what 3D modelling programs you use and what programming languages / industry tools you are proficient it?

Well, my mods that I have made include those for Jedi Knight 2 and KotOR (both of which were lost when my computer was overloaded with viruses and required me to reinstall Windows  )
EDIT: I've also modded Empire at War, but since I did not have the tools needed to make the models (I have heard that you are supposed to email your models to somebody so they can convert them?) I never dove too much into EaW. Although I did extensively edit those XML files :P)
I've never been able to do any outstanding stuff with modeling or programming as I have only found the XNA Game Studio and XSI Mod Tool very recently (though I'm trying to learn C# and better modeling). The KotOR mod was just a couple reskins and some dialog stuff that wasn't too big, but I've made maps for JK2 and have experimented a lot with that game. Most of my experiments never made their way into full-blown mods though because I didn't play the game too much anyway and most other players are playing JK3 by now.
Also, Obi_Wan_01, I'm a Southern California resident, and I might be able to drive up there one weekend (maybe after my vacation after school...) to present to you guys. Who do I talk to to set up such a meeting? And I am very interested in going into the game design field, so any opportunity to have my ideas even considered would be even more proof for my parents that video games would be a good field for me to go into

Please don't use JK in reference to anything other than Dark Forces: Jedi Knight. Please use JA etc for the other games.
Parents always know best, remember that.

I am shocked, chagrined, and amazed that such a ruse could be pulled off on a message board. Shocked!

The joke was well over after day two, and stringing this kid along after the first couple of day's laughs was getting pretty lame.
And don't worry, Obi_Wan_01 will be able to do the same thing next time someone posts a similar thread, and we can all laugh over again (for a day or so).

I have a low tolerance for deception. Not to mention (besides the points jp raises) it reflects negatively on the perception of the forum if someone from LucasArts (and they do lurk here) sees users pretending to be them.
People need a tough skin for this forum, that's undeniable and will never change (as it's not necessarily a bad thing), but there's a distinction between that and being openly hostile or deceptive towards a user, especially when their inquiry is somewhat valid and not just another "we need a GTA SW!" comment.
That said, it was funny initially, but you drag it out too long and it just becomes mean.
