I want to delete KOTOR 2, but the comp warned renaing, moving or deleting the entire 3.13 gig folder could make some programs not work.

Does anyone know the consequences of said action, and can advise?

Thank you

One would think that the programs that would no longer work include KOTOR2, KOTOR2 Launcher, and KOTOR2 Updater.

Uninstall it via the game launch screen, or use windows add/remove programs.

Not a good idea just to delete the game folder unless that above options don't work.

The only problem with deleting a game directly is that the registry still keeps all the old stuff.
And you risk loosing all your save files! Oh no!

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll uninstall from the game menu itself. I don't mind losing the save files. I figured, if I hate the incomplete game that much and haven't played it after one playthrough since, why keep it? It's over 3 gigs wasted space.

Isn't this just the general warning that pops up whenever you try to delete an .exe program?

it should be: C:\ProgramFiles\LucasArts\SWKotOR2 unless you stashed it somewhere else. Also, make sure you do all the updates and such.
