Resident Evil - Lisa Trevor

So I was looking through AOL's Gamecube Memories and came upon mention that the original Resident Evil (which I've never played) was remade for the Gamecube and included a new character, Lisa Trevor.
Apparently this character is awesome and tragic?

Lisa Trevor is the precursor to the Tyrants in the game. She is essentially a test subject that has ALL varients of the T/G virus tested on her and she is all but immune to their effects i.e. they don't kill her but mutates her to an indestructable beast of epic proportions who walks around with her mothers face on her head.
A great addition to a cracking game

She lurches around like a zombie, but she is definitely more powerful. And it doesn't help that she's essentially invincible.

It depends what story you play.
According to Umbrella Chronicles, Wesker kills her by dropping a chandelier on her head and leaving her to get blown up along with the mansion.

It's probably best you play it for yourself and see how it works out.
Spoiler: In the last fight against Lisa, you have to push four pillars supporting Lisa's mothers coffin, once all the supporting pillars are knocked down, the slab on the coffin opens, Lisa sees her dead mother, and jumps off the platform into the abyss. I think there are alternative ways to dispatch her depending on your character/companions/pre-cutscene choices/weapons/etc.

There are two ways of dispatching her after all the running away from her during the game. The first of course is to pump her full of lead. The other however is to push the four coffins that will reveal her mother's skull. She'll ignore you and run off with it.
And to think the same thing's happened to Sherry, no doubt.
