Why exactly would it be re-released? I know Lucas loves making money off his fans by re-releasing things, but those games aren't getting any younger.
and as Vengance said, the way things are going at Lucasarts, their in over their heads with new projects and theforce.net reports today that 100 people we're laid off and theirs turmoil...
I guess, don't hold your breath.

jedi knight and jedi outcast have been re-released before.
I'm still waiting on jedi academy. I lost my cd.

They were re-released in New Zealand, Australia and the UK a year or so back, DVD case packaging.
Here we go - still for sale on Amazon UK.
This is an Activision initiative (they distribute LucasArts outside North America). LucasArts seems to have completely lost interest in their back catalogue.
Academy's also out in a budget range (NZ$10 or $15) over here.

same here. well, not waiting, but I lost my CD, too. And I swear you're like the 5th person on these boards that also happened to. My theory is that they made JA CDs so that they magically disappear after 3 years or so. There is no other explanation for so many lost JA CDs.

On the topic: I doubt it. I think they'd be too busy with their newer, more financially-productive projects to think about re-releasing older ones.

Well, a non-updated version was released by Activision pretty much everywhere outside North America a year back, and has sold out everywhere I normally look for games.
Take from that what you will.
It's LucasArts who have some issue with their back catalogue.
