The gameplay looks pretty much identical to RE4, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Except that I never in my life wanted to see those freaking tentacle-creatures again!

Quoted for truth. Judging by the trailers, there seems to be a definite relationship between RE4's "Las Plagas" and whatever RE5's bad guys are cooking up in Africa.

Sweet! It is on 360!
The tentacle rape monsters are pretty bad, but I don't anything compares to either
1. A regenerator. Those things are friggin' freaky.
2. The sloth monster from House of the Dead. That thing jumps at you and it's so hard to shoot his hand before he does. Then it shakes the cage and dead bodies fall on you. That is just plainly unnecessary.

Dude, I still have nightmares about Salazar's bodyguard creature.
Running up and down that long sewer/corridor, that Alien-ish thing kept running after me, jumping at me from all angles. I was desperately trying to kill it, nothing worked, not even freezing it. Then I realize I just have to stay alive till the elevator comes. Four horrible, horrible minutes.
Worst part, it's still alive, down there somewhere. Waiting...

If you use the upgraded Magnum or Broken Butterfly on it (and/or an RPG for extra seasoning), you can make fairly short work of it even before the elevator arrives, provided you have the ammo.
And on my second playthrough, while waiting for that very first door-shutter to open, the Chicago Typewriter dropped it like a sissy little girly-bitch before it even went five steps.

Like Leto said, Verdugo can be killed. The way I did it was knocking over the Nitrogen tanks, letting him get partially frozen and pulling out the RPG and aiming for the head. It's not that hard, but regular firearms just wont do the trick.

Hmm idunno. Some of the people look at little blocky in the graphics particularly in the face region. And it sounds stupid I am sure but from the controls look pretty nightmarish to me, but then again all the RE games were rubbish for controls.
Meh, looks fun but I'm just not too excited.
