I saw an article about this game in this month's Game Informer, and it looks pretty good. I didn't even know they had another LOTR game in production, but apparently it's set to release sometime this fall.

I read that article as well. I stopped buying LOTR games after ROTK, but this one looks pretty interesting.

i considered LOTR online but i won't play another mmo until my income greatly increases and I don't want people talking in elvish behind my back. haven't read anything about this yet but I'm open to most things LOTR. I just wish someone would cover the scouring of the shire and other parts missed from the book rather than sticking rigidly to Jackson's LOTR saga

Another example of EA squeezing the life out of a license.
EA Philosophy:
Buy License
Flog license to death.
I mean LOTR: The White Council had potential to be a good spin-off from Tolkien's works but EA stopped production for this. A Battlefront clone, damn you EA!!!

So what is this game going to be about? I mean Duh I know its about Lord of the ringss but whats the plot, where does the story take place?
