Since some of the star wars characters are appearing in the SC4 maybe they might make a fighting game from namco that is completely star wars oriented. I mean final fantasy is getting a fighting game why cant star wars. And no im not talking about the upcoming clone wars one, i mean one that will be goodlike for ps3 and xbox360.

Some things i would like is a large selection of characters, i love having a large selection of characters and would especially like EU characters like Kyle Katarn and Darth Bane.

Each character should be formatted to use their actual fighting style like Makashi or Vaapad.

One essential thing for combat is not having it you always made a hude slash through their torso and they still live. I little bit of auto parrying would be helpful and when you swing at each other they dont just pass by and hit the other person, have them touch.

Another thing that all fighting games need is combos and maybe even limit breaks. Combo's would be special assortments of attacks while you could have some sick limit breaks like for Palpatine being able to use force lighting. A good one for darth maul would be a recreation of quigons death with hitting the chin and then stabbing.

A cool special feature would be what happens when two lightsabers go into a perfect block against each other having the opponents grille right up in the others. And then you have to rapidly tap a button or spin the stick and at the bottom there is a bar split into two and you have to go faster then your opponent and get your half of the bar color onto theirs and you overpower them.

A good story line is always good but it might be hard with people from somemany different eras. What i think would be cool is if you made either a sith or a jedi costum character. Your character travels through time or something to fight the opposing affiliation. Also getting to master the forms as your character. You get to choose what form you want and you when you master it you get more and more combos and limit breaks for it, and maybe even master more then one style.

And finally the last thing it needs in arcade mode is a final opponent.....the one the only George Lucas wielding a lightsaber that changes color each round. Like say you knock him out when he has a orange lightsaber and next round its Blue.

Well, they tried one with Masters of Teras Kasi. It wasn't very well received,although i have to admit i had some fun with it.

I liked it and it was pretty cool when it first came out. It hasn't really aged well though. I would an updated version of the game though. Run it off of a modified Soul Calibur engine or some other game, where you can fight armed or unarmed like in the old game.

I had something like this in the SW game wishlist. I've always thought that Lucasarts would make so much money and appease so many fans if he did something like this.

It would be like a SSB but without the crazyness or all the items dropping out of thin air. I've always wanted the ability to just play as my favorite Jedi or Sith, or maybe even bounty hunter, and just kick the crap out of another character. The versus in ROTS; not bad, but definitely could've been much better.

I'd rather it ran off the Soul Blade engine, that was an awesome game, though the graphics suck compared to new games.

I enjoyed the versus duel mode in ROTS as well.

Yeah, that caught me off guard for a second too. I remember hearing that the wii will have a multiplayer mode of some sort.

As a 360 owner, I can only hope STFU has DLC re: multiplayer...unless the multiplayer portion of the 360 has been developed under wraps.

I don't know why they chose German letters for that title.

if they really wanted to make an accurate star wars fighting game it'd have to be more like bushido blade.
at least when lightsabers were concerned. because for every instance where you are a jedi in a videogame, you really have to pummel some people with your lightsaber. it would make way more sense if you just had to learn to play "hard to hit" and roll with it. because c'mon man, you get cut in half with a lightsaber, you're dead.

Thats one of the problems I do have with most SW games where theres a lightsaber involved. We saw in AOTC, you get a small cut on your leg and arm, you're down for the count. Here's characters taking multiple slashes in the chest and they're still full power. Although, I guess it wouldn't be as fun because = easier to kill/easier to die. But it would be great if they had a system like SW Arcade where a split second before theres an arrow telling you where to block. It would make it more realistic.
