Hot tranny vampire-fighting has reached new lows. Why can't they just accept that Castlevania only works as a side-scroller, and keep making those great DS games? Seriously, does anybody want this?

Besides the Belmonts, Alucard, and Grant, there really haven't been that many memorable leads in the Castlevania series. They're all interchangeable and personality-free. I just don't see anyone getting excited over playing as Hector or Soma Cruz in a fighting game.
I don't get it, really. I guess when I picture a family of vampire-hunters, I imagine more masculine men that don't look like they'll be bowled over by a stiff breeze, and whose fashion sense skews more towards down-and-dirty, dead-animal than Dolce & Gabanna.

Castlevania!!!Wooooo!!!
I wish they kept the original music to it, it's so chilling and just adds a certain depth to the game. Still, I'm looking foward to this- I'm hoping the graphics actually potray the vampires as actually vampires, not just people with a blue tint to their skin.

I'm a certified Castlevania whore (proof: I still own Castlevania 64 and Lament of Innocence), and "What the ****!?" doesn't even begin to cover how much I hold this crap in contempt.
The reason for the whole girly, nancy-boy look is because the target audience for these games is Japanese boys. When was the last time you saw someone of Japanese descent grow up to be muscular and manly, like Stallone? They don't, so naturally the heroes of these games are going to be slender and pale, and carry the same insane fashion sense that comes out of Tokyo.
Man, we ****ed 'em up good when we dropped the bombs on 'em, didn't we?

Konami treats Castlevania like Comcast treats the White Sox.
I still have no idea why Konami doesn't release Castlevania games on PSN/Live Arcade...seriously, just give us a perfect port of Dracula X: Rondo of Blood, and we'll forgive this atrocity. Do the same thing as Capcom, and give us something like Castlevania Trilogy (the first NES games), upgraded in graphics and sound, and all will be well.
Sam and Dean Winchester need to take over these games.
