How is your guild in wow setup? What types of things do you guys do togather/ Are you a hardcore raiding guild? I was hoping to have a specific discussion here about your guild and how it is run just to see what else is out there. Maybe we could start a JCG guild sometime? The thought that started me looking at this was the casual guilds that lost players that wanted to raid higher end content but now the higher end content guilds are breaking up and so they want back into there casual guilds. Would you allow that?

this could prolly go in the official wow thread too
But i recently just got into end game raiding and the guild im in right now is currently doing things like SSC/TK/Gruuls and general T4 instances. We're about to head up to doing t5 stuff, but this guild is kinda stupid. When we're in teh instance it takes like 30 mins for everyone to settle down and actually start doing stuff, they otherwise just kabitz in vent. Now theres another guild, opus diis, which is the complete opposite. They are actually doing BT and when they raid, they have everyone in vent, but only the leader talks and he knows whats going on and tells everyone what to do and its orderly, unlike the guild im in. So i want to get in that one, but im still not geared enough for it so i gotta stay with this less organized one first :/

Well, my guild is casual right now, but we're gearing/leveling up to become a raiding guild apparently. I doubt that I'll do that when the time comes. I'm a casual (kinda sorta) player right now. Usually only play on my weekend and an hour or two every other day. I'm game for a casual JC guild.

I was in a guild that had Kara and Gruul's down to a science. Regularly clearing both in a single night with minimal wipes. It was really something to see.
However they seemed to be afraid to push new content. It was near-impossible to get people to log on evenings where new content (Like SSC or TK) was scheduled, and when we did we would clear trash to a boss, and then just afk for a good half hour before making a feeble attempt or 2 and then logging for the night.
It was my first real guild experience, so i stuck with it probably longer then i should have. There was a real solid core to the group, but it was only about 10 people that you could REALLY count on, so ZA was really the limit of what we could do.
Finally broke up and we've all gone our seperate ways. Right now i'm just in a casual guild with some buddies helping them level.

How is this redundant? It is taking the wow general topic and narrowing it down to a specific area of the game. Maybe i wanted to learn more of how people interact with their guilds and how they do things as a guild. This is not a general wow topic this is more specific in it's nature?

personally, i'd like to discuss guilds and their relationships. i'm not all about there relationships; it makes it less personal and very much not here.
