Okay, my parents are on a 1500 dollar budget and they wont buy anything unless its at a store and unless its made by a major manufacturur(IBM, Compaq, Dell) I wanted to build but I can't order stuf on the net and they don't want a "Cheap clone" they need a compaq/dell/ibm. Arg.
So anyways what kind of stats should I try to get from one of these comps?

dude, tell your parents you will pay more and get garbage...

if you can get dell, or gateway... those are both online and you will save a bit and can customize more.

oh btw go for a 8100 model, the parts are interchangeable so if in a year you want a new video card you can just take old one out and put it in..

and you can get it for under 1500, just might have to go with a 16 inch monitor and get ride of the msworksuit and office 2002

software isnt worth the money anyways.

basicaly if you need a decent gaming computer for under 1500 and has to be retail dell is your best choice followed by gateway.

Is the A7M266 better than the A7A? I'm thinking about upgrading sometime soon...

A7M is better.

And I know, I should have gone with an Abit. Oh well, I might upgrade before JKII if I have TEH FUNDS.

Dan: To you question earlier, no movies dont go at 24 FPS, although it depends on the system.

True NTSC: 29.97
Computer NTSC: 30
PAL: 60
forgot what this one is: 15
