Right.
We've been approved for the tournament winners to get VIP colours and a special icon for 3 days.
So, submit your designs for Games Winner Icons here, and in 1 week we'll hold a vote to pick the best one.
Remember that the games played to win the icon will be different - the first one is JK, but in future we'll have XWA, X vs T, GBG, JO games etc, so maybe don't make the icon game-specific.

That would be awesome if they uploaded a few (including a Forceboat icon) to choose from. That Forceboat icon would get me signed up for anything.

I can host them if you like. Once you've made one, PM me & I'll get it via email or ICQ and then you can direct link or embed it in your post.
Also it need not have any text, as the title feature will be used to say "Games Forum Jedi Knight Ladder Winner" or whatever.

Or for ease, I can give you guys the specs right now.
It has to be 50x50 pixels in size, and the picture itself should be pretty clear and easy to see. You can't use anything that would go against the general rules here, but that's hard to do so it's not a big concern.
Other than that, go for your lives.

The thing in the icon is the Kalidor Crescent (with all the extra trimmings) from the original X-Wing game, in case you're wondering.

I was thinking aout doing the same thing but I was using a medal in TIE Fighter. Guess I'm going to have to think of something else.

Another question: Would there be a set of colors that were specific to these tournament winner VIPs? I know that Gauntlet winners have to use some a specific formular of colors(dark blue backbround, gold letters, red outline IIRC). I got the impression that they de-VIP you, ban you, and generally slap you silly if you use other colors. On the other side of this coin, FFC Trivial Pursuit winners get to choose any colors they wish. Which will be the guide for how we choose our colors?

The idea is to not have colours that would make you get PM'd by distraught JCers thinking you're a mod and asking you to quell a canon debate or lock a Palpatine is Sidious (proof inside) thread.
Colours that matched the final icon choice would be aesthetically pleasing.
Anyway, I'll look into this.
Theron, go ahead and submit a Tie-Fighter based icon. Submit several different ones. It's not like we've been inundated!
