Orpheus ist möglicherweise eine historische Person aus dem Gebiet der Thraker, der später mehr oder weniger "vergöttlicht" worden ist, so habe ich es jedenfalls gelesen.

 Gut, ihr habt es geklärt und ein Licht(schwert) ins Dunkel gebracht. Gott sei dank! Es geht doch nichts über klassische Bildung und Lateinunterricht an einem altsprachlichen Gymnasium, obwohl ich nie so gut im Übersetzen war! (Einmal habe ich aus "mare ingens"...  ... das "Meeresungeheuer" gemacht. Dann klappte das mit der Übersetzung vorne und hinten nicht mehr, weil es ja eigentlich "das ungeheure Meer" war. Ach, so eine Nicole Geschichte, die meine Freunde gerne bei Feten aufbrühen. Mein Lateinlehrer hatte mir damals noch eine 4 gegeben, weil er meine Geschichte originell fand... 
Egal, ich habe wegen Anakin wieder geheult! Erst am Freitag. Mir war vor diesem SF Shop klar, dass ich mir momentan diese Puppe nicht leisten kann...

Selbst jetzt wo ich von gehört habe, klingt Orpheus nicht unbedingt nach jemandem, den man kennen müsste. Der wär fast Grund für nen "Grottenschlechte Mythen" Thread

Morpheus....hatte der nicht was mit dem Schlaf zu tun?...
Ich find alte griechische und römische Mythen faszinierend nur hab ich so ein lahmes Gedächtnis dass in meinem Schädel alles durcheinander ist...*seufz* (ich dachte bis vor ein paar Minuten, Morpheus wär derjenige der Euridike aus der Unterwelt holen wollte ...peinlich)
naja....aber hum....ich weiss nicht, ich hab irgendwie das Star Wars Universum nicht mit ner Unterwelt in Verbindung gebracht...
Ich dachte, darin stirbt man und wird eins mit der Macht (Yoda sagt doch so etwas in der Richtung zu Anakin in ROTS, oder?) ... und naja, die hochbegabten Jedis behalten in diesem "Eins mit der Macht" noch so weit ihr bewusstes "ich" dass sie den lebenden als Force Ghosts erscheinen können, wenn sie's wollen
