I wish I came bearing news of having my site up... but unfortunately I have had NO time to work on it.

I think I'm gonna have to close down I Know. I had rebuilt the website on my hardrive on my other computer and deleted what was on brinkster to upload what i had on my computer and my computer crashed and all those files are gone! And right now I just don't have the time or engery to rebuild the whole site again!

Thank god one of our captured troops returned home safely. THat poor woman.

Oh, crystal. I'm so sorry about I Know. I had planned on being an affiliate when I got BR back up (which probably won't be until I'm out of school in mid-May). I just have little time to do anything on it... Life right now is really, really hectic. Lots and lots of stress. *sigh*

 

Its been a rough couple of weeks for just about everyone.

But on the brighter side of things I will be 18 tommarow!

crystal, on brinkster how do you go about getting a second web address? Does it work as long as you sign up with a different email than the one you used before? ?

When you sign up for another brinkster account you do have to use another e-mail address, I've opened about five e-mail accounts just to get those five different brinkster accounts.

This evening before work I picked up Refugee. I'm nearing finals and so insanely busy, so it'll probably take me a while to read it. I did get up to page 6 though on my break.

 

I know this thread isn't getting tons of replies as of late, but I wanted to drop in and give an FYI. Finals are approaching and I have a lot to get down. Therefore, starting tomorrow, I will be away from the JC for a bit. Probably about two weeks. I will return as soon as I have everything taken care of.

Oh, and if you liked the first X-Men movie, I highly recommend the second. I saw it this evening and I loved it. That Nightcrawler is hot.

Oy. I'm very confused. Now that it's summer I want to get my website up and running again. I logged into brinkster this morning to try and work on it... because I haven't worked on it in a bit, I wanted to look at it. I went to the website's default page. Then when I clicked to get to the index, I got a message I'd exceeded my bandwidth limit for today. WTH? I've used 22% of the space I have. I've given the address to NO ONE. How can my visiting one very small splash page possibly use 16.7 MBs of space? I don't get it... ?

 

I'm even more confused now. I thought that perhaps one of my pictures I hadn't compressed and that might explain what was happening. But when I looked into them, they were all small.

Anyway...

I haven't really had time to work on it. I'm moving my SW icons over to a brinkster site, so that's what I'm concentrating on right now as I know what I want with that, while I'm still playing with the layout of Bria's Retribution.

Odd thing is... I've given out the address of my icon website and it's been visited... yet I haven't seen a bandwidth message on it once, nor has anyone told me they got one. Yet on the site I haven't shared with anyone... very strange...

Felt like I'd been "on holiday" long enough and it was time to hook up with old friends again!

I really have missed you all. Granted, I've kept in touch with Bria, but have missed Crystal and I promise, I'll be around more.

Might even revive my old Lit Reviews, if interest is still there.

I know Bria is busy with OOTP, but hopefully, when she's done, we'll be discussing it.

As for now, anyone who wants to shoot the breeze, let me know!

As for me, I was home sick today and am basically trying to get better for tomorrow. Not so bad. My kitty has been with me all day and my mom comes home tomorrow.

I'm off to a book event at a local Barnes and Noble. Mathew Woodring Stover, the author who wrote Traitor and the clone wars Shatterpoint novel, is in town. I don't own Shatterpoint, but I'll have him sign my copy of Traitor. I also want to inquire whether all three visions of Anakin that Jacen has in Traitor are just Vergere, or if he ever really does appear.

 

well i finished reading both tatooine ghost and order of the phoniex.

tatooine ghost was very good although a little stranger than what i thought...


as for OOTP i don't think you want to know.
