Nah, we're all about the outdated spoilers in Nu's now, apparently.

Okay, considering I thought spoilers would work fine, to get some interest in this thing . . . I must say the 300 discussion worked as well.

So, I take a "international law approach" to the term Spartan. And the number of dead Spartans is 301.

Leonidas takes 300 Spartans with him. Meaning 299 + himself die on the field. And one of his pals escapes. And Gorgo kills that bug Theron in close-up. While he is a shame for the nation, he is a Spartan by birth. Good they correct that mistake in time

If we run out of this number games I´ll come up with some true game-spoilers

LordT's numbers would seem correct. 299 is sort of a bizarre number to take with you, so 301 including Leonidas makes sense. Which would mean 300 die, but then if you count deformed traitor guy, that is, in fact, 301.

But here's what bothers me. Sparta always had two kings at any given time. Where the hell is king #2?

 

Dammit, he is right. Leonidas says he takes 300 men with him. So they are 301. Cheaters!

The disfigured guy survives, does he? He is cursed to life with his guilt.

And 300 die and Gorgo kills this senator whatever guy . . .

Hm . . .

 

Can't say in the movie, but he definitely dies in the original. Which, again, makes it 301 (300 Troops - 1 guy who tells +1 Leonidas +1 Disfigured guy)

 

Danny Phantom is highly underrated.

I found it via the TFN podcast back when Episode III was all the rage. Then I procrastinated.

But yes, as Chukles pointed out, we're having a bit of a party here in Nu's to celebrate Trim's belated fourth anniversary and my upcoming first anniversary, as well as Chuk's fifth anniversary. And so, as unofficial caretaker, I say to you:

PARTY!

 

But.... but..... it was just my fifth anniversary too.

 

Then we shall also celebrate Chuk's anniversary!

Hell, let's celebrate everyone's anniversary!

 

honestly... i don't remember. i think i found it by accident. but it was before ROTS came out, i do know that. hence the episode three stigma... w00t.
