True, and good point. Can't argue against Rashad's record, he has certainly finished good fighters before- and it may just be me, but I've never regarded him as "exciting."

Dana needs exciting fighters to sell this sport on FOX. Jon Jones should be on the FOX cards, but then he loses out on the potential PPV buys. Nate Diaz-Jim Miller will be one of the 3 fights at the next FOX event, I think Dan Henderson needs to be thrown onto that card, as well as Jose Aldo or Dominick Cruz. Right now it seems like the lighter weights have more guys who push the pace of a fight, and you don't run into these boring fights where one guy is basically leg-humping his opponent up and down the mat for 15 or 25 minutes.

As fans of the sport, we enjoy all of the fights. But this FOX deal is about expanding the fan base, not appeasing the fans Dana White already has.

I liked the show last night. Chael really is full of himself isn't he?

    From wrestlingobserver.com:

--Dana White was up until at least 4 a.m. last night doing posts about the guys who hacked the UFC web site this week. He also got into a twitter argument with the guy who claims credit for doing it. ...

So in response to White calling them names, somebody released his name, address and some phone "home" numbers. Unfortunately, the address was to a $78,000 home in Las Vegas, and I assure you Dana White isn't living these days in a $78,000 home. The purported phone numbers they released were to some old women in Las Vegas ...

Mayhem Miller's web site was also hacked, and they gave out personal info for Jason Miller. And yes, it was apparently the wrong Jason Miller.

ETA: The reason Anonymous hacked the UFC's website is because of White's support for SOPA/PIPA.

Thankfully Carlos Condit cut down Nick Diaz, but of course he couldn't shut him up. One loss, and Diaz is saying he's "gonna retire from this MMA stuff because they can't pay me enough."

Once a loser, always a loser, running to boxing won't change that. He's in the same weight class as Pacquiao and Mayweather, he wouldn't last 2 rounds with either of them.

Uhm, Diaz fights at 170 pounds. He'd either be a super middleweight or light heavyweight in boxing.

Diaz also got popped in pre - fight drug testing for marijuana, so he'll likely not be fighting anywhere for at least a year anyways.

    RIP Miesha Tate's left arm.

Cyborg vs Rousey is the fight to make. Striker vs Grappler. Meanwhile, the ultimate fighter show has improved for the better with weekly live fights.

Depends on when Cyborg gets back from her suspension from getting popped for steroids.

Bobby Lashley signed on to fight for NBC Sports program

--Dave Bautista will be the guest on MMA Uncensored tonight on Spike at 11 p.m. talking his MMA debut fight in Providence against Rashid (not Rashad) Evans.

--UFC fighter Christian Morecraft was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, reckless driving, speeding and driving without a license on Friday. He was arrested that night, refused to take a Breathalyzer and was released on bail.

--Tickets for UFC's debut in Macau on 11/10 go on sale to the public on Friday in Macau. The matches being promoted are Rich Franklin vs. Cung Le, Stanislav Nedkov vs. Thiago Silva and Tiequn Zhang (who is from China) vs. Jon Tuck.

-- Batista on MMA Uncensored Live last night noted that he got dropped for the first time in training last week, going head-up with Stephan Bonnar. He apparently loved the experience. He said he would be interested in returning to WWE at some point but was going to wait until the PG era died down a bit. He better not be holding his breath about that one. He said he'd like to work with HHH again (by far his most successful feud at the box office during his run), and also perhaps Brock Lesnar. He said if the deal was right he'd fight Lesnar in MMA, but he'd prefer to do a pro-wrestling battle instead. Me too.
-- King Mo on the show noted he'd be debuting for TNA in October. He just started training in Ohio Valley Wrestling. That will be an interesting story to follow. One month of training before a live TV debut has disaster written all over it 99 times out of 100. Or maybe he's the next Kurt Angle.
-- CSAC head Kathi Burns admitted today that they only tested two fighters on the Strikeforce Rousey vs. Kaufman show last month, those being Rousey and Kaufman. Both came up clean. Nobody else was tested, and they claimed that was not due to budgetary concerns, but rather, well, just because they didn't. CSAC is an absolute mess right now.
-- Speaking of Ronda Rousey, Rolling Stone has a bit in the lastest issue detailing her "feud" with Kim Kardashian, and outright proclaiming her the best female fighter ever.

Man I would love for China to really open its doors and let their fighters compete in MMA. Of course they'd have to catch up on the submission game but the San Chou guys would bring a very different fighting style to the mix .

So Cain dominated the hell out of JDS. And the Miller/Fauzon fight was amazing.

JDS showed some unbelievable heart, chin and fight though. I couldn't believe when he rallied (sort of) late in the fight.

    From WrestlingObserver.com/F4wonline.com:

The Nevada State Athletic Commission today voted unanimously to license Alistair Overeem at its commission meeting this morning in Las Vegas.
Overeem had sent UFC and Nevada results of five steroid tests between June and November that were clean, and he was also tested on 11/16 and 12/21 by the commission, and both tests came out clean.
The hearing was only ten minutes with no grilling of him.
Overeem faces Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva as part of the 2/2 UFC 156 show in Las Vegas, the company's next PPV event.

The only test needed on Overreem is to look at him. That juice monkey must have hooked up a PED keg to himself to get that big (relative to how he started).
