Is the guy that Anakin beats up in the trailer really Clovis? If so he's missing his face tattoos, unless he got them removed.

 

I never trust trailers so that's why I ignore them for the most part.

 

Clovis had facial tattoos? Shows how often I watch Senate Spy.

 

If I see the word 'Senate' in an episode, it usually gets skipped.

 

I wonder if the scene we see with Thorn in the trailer will be his death scene? Cause he's surrounded by Commando and Super Battle Droids.

 

In 1080P version on starwars.com's youtube channel, you can see the yellow tattoos on Clovis's head when he is choked and later when he is preparing for Anakin.

Totally! I think Thorn dies cause the clone next to him dies from being shot and Thorn is surrounded by twice as many droids than the ones that killed Master Di and Keeli.

 

Hmm, I'm still not seeing Clovis's tattoos.

I just now noticed Wolffe in the trailer, he's in that new ship with Plo Koon and shock troopers.

It also looks like Tarkin makes an appearance at the Jedi funeral.

TCW has always done a great job of misleading in trailers.

 

But they also have had a great talent of spoiling the endings of entire arcs in the first 10 seconds.
Like when the S4 trailer aired and I saw Lee-Char kneeling in front of the crown, it totally looked like the finale since Nossor Ri was there too.

I love how Jedi funerals are public spectacles now... I would understand if Tarkin was in a battle with one of the schmucks who died. I doubt it is cause of Maul or Mandalore cause I think Mandalore will be an internal affair.


WHAT IF HE IS... What if there is an arc we are not seeing stuff from?! What if the space battle is the reason for the deaths cause nothing can kill a lot of people quickly as a space battle or Grievous!



PS: I would love to see Grievous do this in the show - blast a shelter with people to make an example.

Definitely Avatar inspired - especially that falling beast sequence. TBH, this'll probably be one of the best arcs this season.

Yeah that's probably it, coming from Seth Green it makes me imagine Titan Maximum meets SW although that actually would probably have been a neater idea than what Detours appears to be.

 

Yes, because having Star Wars in Star Wars would be a bad thing. Best get some Robotech in there to make it better.

 

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but can I just say "SQUEEEEE!!" for some upcoming commando action?

There's a part in the trailer where we see a bearded!clone getting scanned or something...so many possibilities, there! Is he undercover? A deserter coming back to the GAR? Was he out of commission for some reason or another, and is now back in action? Must...know...

 

Are they? How and why? Because Tarkin is in there?

 

Some of these previews/trailers look absolutely spectacular.

It's a shame they had to bring Maul/Savage into this Mandalorian conflict. Some of those scenes look absolutely incredible.

I'd get hyped, but last time I did, my high expectations were brought down by abysmal writing.

I'll remain cautiously optimistic that there will be some good stuff in season 5.

 

Cause Tarkin, a bunch of Senators, Mas Amedda and other are there - YES!

That is what I do almost every season and always the seasons after S2 fail me.

That really disappointed me when the Mon Calamari arc happened.

 

Yeah, that was the worst season opener ever.

 

Well it seems that reports from the screening of 'Revival' that it will be a good opener....

 

In case you haven't noticed, reports from TCW screenings are always along the lines of "IT WAS AMAZING OMG" and then we watch the Mon Cal arc for ourselves and find out those reports were either heavily censored or stupid.
