September meeting

So at the August meeting, we decided that the next meeting would be August 15th or 16th at Wings Over the Rockies, if they can fit us in. Alas, after checking, Zoo found out that they cannot accommodate us on that weekend.

Our backup plan was to have the meeting at Skywalker Ranch/my house, which works fine with me. We are open to doing it either Saturday or Sunday. The Broncos play Monday night that weekend, and although I'm sure there may be other football-watching conflicts, that day is open for us. One of our members is having an event that Saturday night, so we wouldn't want to conflict with that. So, to not interfere with those plans, we could hold the meeting earlier, say at noon, on Saturday.

What is your pleasure? I'll open a poll on it and close it up next Tuesday so we can decide on a date. How's that sound?

Well, we're split even so we're gonna go with the original date of Saturday. Time will be at noon. Food will be provided and yummy!

 

Food theme is Mexican. We'll have tamales for everyone and a crock pot nacho cheese. Please bring something to share and post what you're bringing.

 

Finally back on the forums! I should be good for the meeting,wherever it is.

I'm pretty sure we are a no go, if all goes right Jeff will be recovering from surgery. Will see how it goes.

Can you ask him for a treasury report, if he's not too hopped up on the good stuff?

 

No money was collected in August, not sure why, I wasn't there, same amount of money as the meeting notes. I think jt posted the totals all ready. Jeff's going under the knife tomorrow, lots to do before then.

 

Yep, that's what happened. If we have the tickets, HI-C container for money and prizes, we'll do our best to collect non-raffle-raffle monies! Hopefully our CR will have that on his agenda...

 

Hope all goes well with Jeff. Maybe we should just collect a small donation for a nice get-well card and flowers for him. Boy, Saturday is a really busy day: NDK, Brethren Con, fall colors popping out all over the mountains. But I'll do my best to make this one. I'll bring my chiliquiles (blue corn chip chicken thingy, you'll like it or else!). PM me your address please.
