Full Series Cad Bane will survie the clone wars! Detours Speculation

Not that long ago, on a thread not that far away, I proposed an idea, on why cad bane should be kept alive and should live threw the clone wars. Well my idea and hope might just come true.

See, it looks like cad bane may be living threw the clone wars, because he’s in detours (with a cool mustache!) Now, I know detours isn’t really cannon, and isn’t coincided true to it. (Though it might be a bit more cannon than TCW!) But this isn’t that far of a jump. I mean, you don’t see any official cannon characters like padme or grievous running around during the rise of the empire. So could cad bane live threw the Clone Wars.

So, while my last thread was the cad bane alternative (http://boards.theforce.net/xentemp/index.php?threads/the-cad-bane-alternative.2219/)

This one is the cad bane speculation.

So, what about you guys? What’s your take on this? Does this prove cad bane will survive the clone wars? Or is it just an Easter egg?

I think he should not live

 

Detours isn't canon.

 

The real question is not whether he lives or dies. Everybody lives and dies. That's not anything special.

The important question here is whether that mustache is legit. Because we've never seen a Duros with facial hair. Although some have tried.

 

Who cares about a Western gunslinger shoehorned into a space opera?

Detours isn't canon, Cad Bane's death is still in play in TCW

 

Que the sign for "dying in Ahsoka's arms" jokes...

 

The trailers for the new show are making me think that Cad Bane DOES survive.

But is this the eu? and since TCW is higher canon than everything except the saga, they can kill him off if they want to, though it would be better to keep him alive for the sake of comic lovers.

I personally have never read any star wars comics or books, so I don't freak out when stuff gets retconned

 

That's such an awkward thing for Lucas to let the EU establish while TCW is ongoing.

Sorry guys, didn't use spoilers as that particular one has been out for so long that I thought everyone knew it x)

 

Its all good. Lol. Now all that's left is to debate the accuracy of that and if that's what TCW will actually do.

 

I think he either going to meet his demise by crossing Bobba Fett or getting on the wrong side of Anakin's blade.

 

That's not Bane, that's his uncle out on parole Seriously though, it doesn't really matter if he lives or dies; he doesn't effect the main characters much.

Isn't it? But now that they have, that's what they should abide by.

On principal, however, he'll probably be dead by next week.

 

I don't mind if he survives. I would still want some closure to his role in TCW. E.G. have his last appearance be getting arrested or something, and then the EU can sort it out by having him escape, or even having Palpatine pardon him once he becomes Emperor and hiring him for a job or something. But I do think the character should have some kind of satisfying closure to those that watch TCW but may not read the novels or comics.

 

I don't really care if he lives or dies, I just think it's absurd for them to announce it in advance...

 

Detours is not canon. I hope that Bane will be killed in TCW since he is one of the few original recurring villains in the show and his death would be interesting and important plottwist.
