With the Ewok's help, the Rebels are freed and the shield-generator is destroyed. The Rebels can then fly into the Deathstar and destroy it-

Anakin and Han's concern after two "brothers farewell" moments is mirrored. Also, this is the last time Anakin and Obi-Wan meet before Anakin becomes a Sith, and the last time Luke and Han meet before Luke is a Jedi-

No, Lucas visited the set on several ocasions. Specially towards the end, when he had to push Kurtz aside to be able to finish the film.

 

Lucas could visit anytime he wants, it is his movie, he do whatever he wants with the movie
