just received word that Stan Lee is canceling his scheduled appearance at the Ohio Comic Con for next weekend. Even more concerning is that the message sent out by the Wizard World promoters of the event indicate that they “were informed by Stan Lee’s management that Stan would be unable to attend any upcoming appearances for the near future.”
Stan Lee was also scheduled to appear at the Authors! Authors! series at Toledo-Lucas County Public Library on September 27, and his appearance at that event has been canceled as well. According to the Toledo Blade, a library spokesperson said that Stan Lee’s agent said the cancellation was for “a very serious circumstance.”

WHEW! I'll leave it all open as a lesson in relief over your icons remaining alive. I just hope said link holds up and we get a meme of "Stan is OK".

 

Stan Lee is a whole seven months younger than Christopher Lee, so there's no need to worry about him.

 

So if he dies we'll have a bunch of duplicate threads because of the ridiculously vague title. Good going.

 

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that people born in 1922 are under constant threat of imminent death.

With great internet access comes great irresponsibility.

 

I thought everyone did. Whenever he writes anything, I hear his voice when reading. Also, I would not complain if Stan Lee was indeed around for another 90 years.
